sweet Tooth

Travers, a must stop to brouse a city with wall to wall antique shops and then stop in at the Aspen Leaf for a great sandwich, salad and finish with one of the best sweets (pie, sweet roll, cookies, etc.) in Sourthen Colorado. You will not be disappointed.

The food and service is all around great! The sandwiches are awesome and the bread pudding is to die for! Don't pass this shop while walking Main Street!

Laid back. Great pastries, good coffee, serves breakfast and lunch only. A great quiet spot to read the morning paper or one of the many cookbooks for sale. Cozy with great lighting and a friendly staff.

I believe this is the best bakery in Southwest Colorado. The owner is a wonderful person, always friendly and accomodating. They have some gluten free sweets such as peanut butter cookies and macaroons. One of the employees is gluten intolerent and told they clean everything very well when they have a gf run. Their lunches are very good and gf... More

Stopped in the Aspen Leaf awhile visiting antique stores in Florence. Had an order of bread pudding with vanilla sauce- served warm --and an eclair. Both were delicious. Would order both again. The atmosphere was great. If in Florence and want some sweets, go to the Aspen Leaf. It gives you the energy to visit more antique shops!!

I had their tomato soup in a bread bowl and it was amazing! Large portion. Great bread! Service was great too. Staff are friendly and attentive. The pastries are excellent as well. There are lots of choices for bakery and pastry items as well as for cheese cake. Great little place! I will go there again.

Local art, delicious displays, and variety! They offered a wonderful menu for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and desserts. The service was great too! Sasha was waiting on us during our visit, and she was the best waitress I have ever had! She was friendly, attentive, and her happy demeanor was the highlight of our trip to Florence. We were disappointed she... More

Outstanding, flavorful lunch items. I had the Italian Sandwich, P. had the Club. Both tastefully seasoned - just right everything. Nice sized proportions - had to do a take-out to save room for dessert. Our desserts were good enough to warrant a special trip when we just feel like a treat. A little more expensive than your average fare, but... More

Good food, good drinks. Wish the deserts tasted as good as they looked! Service was great. Tea selection was wonderful. Only disappointment was the cost and the desserts. Brownie was gooey and undercooked (sugar was still crystallized), lemon bar was entirely too sweet.

My wife and I walked into the building. We were greeted by wonderful smells and a local strumming his guitar while singing to entertain the patrons. The atmosphere in the old west building was enjoyable. The food was great! A great place to stop for lunch or enjoy a cup of coffee with a pastry. Aspen Leaf Bakery is a... More
