We sat outside during our stop on Forth of July. The patio was comfortable and sunny. I understand they have new owners and menu. Tortilla soup and salad were very good and fresh. Chimichanga was grilled, crispy and contained parts of chicken that should not have been included such as skin, gristle and unrecognized parts. I waited to show our... More

Whippletree has been a restaurant that we would visit at least once a week. Always reliable, you knew what to expect, reasonably priced and the world's best salsa! No longer! All our favorites from the "old" menu have been removed and the replacements are just not good. Serving temp is lukewarm at best, very little seasoning and odd sides -... More

Our family has been coming to the Whip for 35 years or more, and the food and service was good, and reliable -- now the chef and menu have changed completely, and our meal tonight was SUCH a disappointment! Their chile rellenos have always been my example of what a good chile relleno should be -- full, juicy, fried crispy.... More

We have been eating at the Whip since it was established and were most disappointed in the food today (June 23, 2014). It is highly unlikely that we will return. All of the original items had great flavor & taste whereas the new menu items were just not up to par especially the watery salsa. Big disappointment as the Whip... More

We've been going to the Whippletree for 10 years. This is my second review of The Whip. My last one was not so good, as the food was cold and the service wasn't very good. The Whip is an Evergreen tradition and it had been slowly going downhill...they had to know they needed to make some improvements or risk losing... More

I don't know if this establishment has changed hands, but the menu changes are terrible. One of the worst meals I have ever had, and the service was slow.

Seated right away, cozy home feeling & prompt staff. No wait on drinks or having our order taken. Had a chicken burrito & enchilada with shredded Adobo beef burrito & enchilada. It was served with black beans & rice. Plenty for 2 to share. We ate the churros, which were filled with some kind of pudding filling & drizzled with... More

Showed up to find out the menu changed completely. While I do miss a few of my old favorites the new items we tried were fresh and delightful. I especially enjoy the new salsa. I do wish they would have introduced new items along with the old. Hopefully they bring back the original nachos.

I have been coming to the Whippletree for about 35 years now, and I ALWAYS have the "Whippletree sandwich". Along with myself, my entire family have also been loyal patrons, again, ALWAYS having the "Whippletree sandwich". Much to my disappointment when we visited this past weekend, only to find that the namesake sandwich was nowhere to be found on the... More
