We were on family vacation on Day #5. Money is starting to run out and so I looked for an affordable menu that covered all my picky kids tastes. I stumbled upon this and was really thrilled that it was only a mile from the Courtyard Marriott here in Englewood. We pulled up at 6pm on a Saturday and were... More

We were staying at the comfort suites next door on our last night and as it was next door we thought we would try it.the car park was fairly full (normally a good sign) so we thought we would have to wait a while.no such problem, the restaurant is deceptively large with dining areas off the main part.the staff were attentive... I went to the purple ginger for an event and they have great space! Their patio is nice as well. I did have two items to eat, but their menus has something for everyone and I wanted to try it all. The miso soup is great and the vegetable fried rice is full of flavor. The menu is very gluten... More

The food seems to be a mixture of several Oriental influences. Korean noodles were amazing. I ate there every night I was able.

We picked this restaurant, because it was closest to our hotel and my husband wanted sushi as his birthday dinner meal. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. Within minutes our server came over and introduced himself and took our drink order. The process between seating and the drink order was pleasant enough, it was everything after that,... More

Have been going to Purple Ginger II for a few years and enjoying it for family outings, but we used to like it more. However, our past two trips have been very average food experiences at prices which are not a great value based on the meal (though presentation is still very nice). Call us finicky but we like a... The menu is broad: Chinese, Thai, Korean. We had the Udon and Sizzling Happy Family and a side order of kimchee. Food was fine. Hostess was friendly and so was our waiter. No kids menu or kid friendly glasses or silverware.

We went as a family, based on other reviews we found online. The food was very good; served quickly and beautifully. We are Sesame Chicken officiondos and the dish there was excellent. The Mongolian Beef was perfectly chewey. A surprise was the House Chardonnay...quite nice tasting for only $3. The ambience is upscale and pleasantly quiet with beautiful lighting, we... More

Recently ate here starter and main course. Food was good and plentiful but most of the dishes were quite bland. It was midweek so the appetizers were 50% off but we'd rather would have paid more for a bit more taste.
