The best Thai around

I was so thrilled to read that A Taste of Thailand has relocated to a little strip mall on the corner of South Broadway and Evans. They have always been my favorite Thai in Denver but their old location across from Swedish was cramped, kind of dingy and the parking was really a pain. Now, they're... read more

We are super picky with our standards. Have eaten Thai food in CT, Maryland, Illinois, & Wisconsin. The food could not be more flavorful. Honestly, that is what I'm looking for when I eat someplace..."do I want the leftovers?" The place is moving to Broadway in May and being a new transplant to Denver we were skeptical to find a... I have been to Thailand and am a bit of a snob when it comes to Thai food. These guys are the real deal and make some amazing food that take me back. And October - March, they wow your taste buds (and wake up your sinuses) with flu shot soup that is just delicious. They have fantastic curry dishes,... More

Taste of Thailand is a good take-out option conveniently close to the hospitals (Craig and Swedish). Traditional Thai Food. There is seating and a small bar. There are a couple Thai restaurants in the area. Taste of Thailand is good. For really good, fresh Thai food try Bangkok Cafe a couple blocks away.

My favorite restaurant when I lived down the street in Littleton. Everything on the menu is delicious. It's family owned and run and the chef uses the herbs from her own garden. So, so good. You can get stick rice with any meal - it costs a little more but just ask. My favorites were Larb Gai, Tom Kha Gai,... More

Recently went to this restaurant and tried their famous "Flu Shot Soup" -- inspired, perhaps, by the hospital across the street whose many doctors eat lunch at the restaurant. It's chicken won ton soup, with chicken broth, spiced up with hot pepper, garlic, and ginger and filled with lots of chopped vegetables including celery, carrots, cabbage, and cilantro. The soup... We've been coming here for years every time we are in Denver. Having eaten Thai food all over the world, this remains our standard by which we judge every other Thai restaurant. Best steamed dumplings. Best soups. Great green curry. Wonderful seasonal specials. And it is a family business, which means a friendly welcome whenever we return.

I can't wait to go here again. The food is incredibly good. It's as fresh as can be, with vegetables grown in their own garden. You can tell!! We had three people and got two soups, three entrees, and Thai egg rolls. Everything was fabulous!! We took the leftovers, which my friend forgot to eat, so I took them with... More
