Quality though Expensive Valley Sushi

The Sushi and Rolls are solid making Sushi rice at altitude is a challenge. Happy Hour can help to offset the expensive prices, even Miso Soup is a la carte. Fusion dishes offer some interesting combinations and flavors, but portions are on the small side. Service ranges from efficient to... read more

Fabulous sushi restaurant with consistently fresh seafood, creative local-inspired sushi rolls, good appetizers and entrees, and a lively, modern atmosphere. On a busy night get there early. The line gets long. But they always offer great specials for dining before 6:30!

I went to Sato Sushi for my birthday dinner, and I was not disappointed. Even though the prices are outrageous for sushi (then again, we are quite a ways away from the ocean), this is the place to go if you have the check account for it. They have so many different varieties from traditional rolls to unusually delicious rolls,... More

We were staying in Beaver Creek and stopped in Edwards. We had researched a few places that had Happy Hour specials. We went to Sato, sat on the patio, and tried a variety of rolls from their extensive menu. All were outstanding (especially a unique curry salmon roll). Best of all was the spicy, garlic edamame appetizer. It's in a... More

The sushi is good and unfortunately one of the only sushi places in Edwards. But the service is consistently cold and poor. Especially the owner, he was quite rude to both his customers and wait staff. I will not be returning.

It was only a few nights ago, and yet I could handle another meal at Sato. Though I get my fair share of sushi in NYC, Sato's rolls had a rustic appeal -- uni with quail egg ... mushroom roll with truffle oil ... kobe beef negimaki.

I have dined at Sato pretty much every year for a long time. Locations change, but the freshness of the seafood is consistent. Some rolls are quite spicy, but flavors are great. Recently added Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a great red with everything. Great restaurant for groups who share, and excellent non-sushi offerings are available.

Truly amazed at the poor value. Sushi is expensive and the rolls are small. I ordered the pot pie cause I'm not the biggest sushi fan and it was a kid sized portion for $24, and it was mediocre. Such a waste of money. I heard the sushi is pretty good, but the value is low. Will never eat there... More

Great Sushi locally, great Happy hours. Sushi in the Valley are pricey but this place is still one of most affordable for good quality sushi.
