As visitors to the Vail area, it is nice to see restaurants keeping their consistency in ambience, service and food. The prices have definitely crept, but the food is still high quality. Five of us sat down for dinner over the July 4th weekend around 9:00. The restaurant was still packed and very lively. We sat at a table overlooking... More

Been eating here for years. Always one of our favourites. But tonight experience was outstanding. With a new chef and some additions to the menu the whole experience at Junipers has reached an all time high. The service is great and Doug makes us feel at home every time we go. The valley is full of excellent restaurants but Junipers... More

Casual but elegant, located in the Riverwalk complex. Food, ambiance, and service were all excellent and the wine-knowledgeable owner was a plus. Price for dinner for 2 including one cocktail and three glasses of wine and the highly-rated sticky pudding desert was about $160, including tip. I can get grumpy over spending $75-$80 for dinner but I was smiling after... More

The food is delicious with great service. My only complaintis it can be a bit cramped getting around tables. Try to get a table outside on the railing. Nice view of the river.

This was my first visit to Juniper. Since it's off season now, they are offering the special of 50% off entrees which is a steal! Myself and a friend met up for dinner and were seated immediately. The atmosphere is nice and would be suitable for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. We were seated along the windows... More

A year on and we went back whilst visiting the area . Entrees offered at half price, but the quality is just fantastic, great food, great service and warm and friendly owners and clients.. Love this place

I have skied BC the last 5 years and somehow missed Juniper until this year. I was blown away. It fully deserves the top ranking. The hostess, upon our entry, was so polite and tried to accommodate our request to sit at the back. The food was all PERFECT...delicious, perfectly prepared, and timed with perfection. There are too many excellent... More

We had friends that had booked a table before we could tell them of our bad experience a year ago. We thought maybe this time would be OK. NO--- we were given a high table with high bar stools---not a good start, then three of us ordered the steak---all steaks were as tough as old boots--we could not eat them.... More

Every time we are in the area, we eat at Juniper. I don't think there is anything on the menu that isn't top notch. The drinks are superb, I had the acai martini, and the food is outstanding, fresh and delicious. It's always on our "must" list.

Had a birthday dinner here for a party of 6. Great atmosphere, good vibe, good service, food so so unfortunately. Two of us had the Manhattan steak dinner and both were over cooked and tough as tough can be (and for that price it should have been excellent). Butternut squash soup was yummy, great wine list and other entrees were... More
