We enjoyed the variety of food at this restaurant. The red trout was great. Friends ordered a sampler plate with fish, shrimp, Maine lobster, which was also great. Service was attentive; atmosphere was fun.

The food was awful and the service even worse. Just because it has been there forever doesn't mean it's any good. Don't waste your time!

The Gashouse was surprisingly excellent and unexpected. The hunting lodge exterior did not lead one to believe that the restaurant would have such a diverse and enticing menu! There were several steak, game, and seafood items to choose from. I ate one of the nightly specials which was ruby red trout. It was perfectly prepared. My husband had a tender... More

Amazing meal time after time. Fresh seafood (crab cakes yummmm) and delicious wild game. We have been going to The Gashouse for over 20 years. The wait staff is knowledgeable and their wine list rocks! Best prices in valley. A fun place to go with the family or just a great meal!!

One of the best places near Beaver Creek and Vail to find wild game for dinner. A great selection of boar, elk, and other game meats. Their sausage was so good we tracked down their butcher in Denver and ordered some shipped home. Prices are on the high side but the atmosphere, service, and food is wonderful. They are also... The Gashouse is one of the BEST places in the Vail Valley to have a meal. Lunch, dinner, Happy Hour, it's all good. The Crabcake is my favorite thing on their menu, but the Baby Back ribs are excellent too. The fish is flown in, it's always fresh and perfectly cooked, many different ways. They have many game items, such... More

We ate here today and had a pretty good experience. It was a little on the expensive side, $48 for two burgers and two kids meals. The burgers were cooked a little too well done but still tasted ok. Fries were delicious. Service was great. It wasn't busy at all, we stayed and watched a football game and a nascar... More

The atmosphere here is great, I love the animal mounts all over the walls- they have everything! The restuarant is cozy also with lots of different rooms and heaps of character. Great restuarant for a date, family or group of friends. The menu is fantastic as well and really fun with all sorts of different game, elk, etc. Real mountain... More

We searched for 4 star restuarants near our vacation place in Avon, CO to have a nice anniversary mean. Found "Gashouse" and their special sounded perfect for our celebatory dinner. But really, what the heck does that name mean anyway? When we were seated I asked what they had to eat that was gluten free and the waiter said, well... More
