On our last night in the area we dined at the Gashouse on the recommendation of our hotel, Park Hyatt, Beaver Creek. And we loved it! We shared a spicey shrimp appetizer & salads to begin. Our entries included filets, and crab cakes. The steaks were perfectly cooked, tended, oh so good! The offer many different sides go with the... More

Came upon this restaurant totally by accident while lost! What a lucky break! The service was perfect with a waiter who had a great sense of humor and clearly adored the food choices. He wanted us to have a memorable time and we did. I had the cajun shrimp and crab cakes and cleaned my plate in no time. Perfectly... More

The Gashouse has both indoor and outdoor dining in a friendly, casual atmosphere. The elk and buffalo were both quite good and were prepared as requested. Service was pleasant and attentive.

We stopped on our way back from Glennwood Canyon. This log cabin structure dates back to the 1800's, has a lovely patio and the menu and food certainly exceeded our expectations. We had lunch there twice, service was great and the food was very good. We went to enjoy, nnot for a discount (which we did not know about anyway).... More

No, the food isn't stellar, but the ambiance on that patio on a nice summer evening is. And our food wasn't bad: the bison burger was terrific - cooked perfectly, and a real delight with the parmesan truffle fries. My bison carpaccio was very good too as long as I didn't eat it with the foul cheese toasts served along... More

We stopped in this restaurant last week while visiting Vail on the way back from Glenwood Springs. There was a sign in the restaurant that said 30 percent off appitizers between 4:30 - 6:00 PM. We had a party of 7 and ordered 3 appitizers. When the check arrived, the discount was not applied. We asked the manager and she... More

We checked into our hotel (Westin Riverfront in Avon) this past Saturday and were handed a list of restaurants that were offering off season discount until the end of June to promote off season sales. This restaurant had advertised a 30% discount with our hotel. When the check arrived, I told the waiter about the off season discount our hotel... More

Lots of taxidermy displayed on log walls, friendly staff. Personally, I liked the ambiance. We started with red pepper soup which was a little more spicy than I expected but good. Some of my party had the calimari but I felt that we were a little too far from the sea. Without being told what one appetizer was, I tried... More

From the outside the restaurant looks like any other but inside your are transferred to a fantasy log cabin with animal heads and other interesting memorabilia. The buffalo sausage was delicious and succulent (a must-try) and the ceasar salad one of the best I've had. The Rocky Mountain Oysters, though, were a novelty of fried blandness but glad I tried... Went there with family, just want to it something. They had special going on in the paper, price was all right, so we did stop by there. Service wasn't good at all, it took them forever to serve us, game plate was all burned out outside and raw inside, I don't think I even took a bite of it, was... More
