Good food- interesting atmosphere

We had a nice meal- Idaho Trout, Salmon, boar sausages, ribs... The decorations on the walls were a bit disturbing. It was if we were sitting at a taxidermy convention. Everywhere was filled with a stuffed animal- a head or the whole body- a few animals were sticking out into the aisle so you... read more

We choose this restaurant for the variety of game meat sampler appetizers. I made reservations through Open Table and tried for a number of days to get reservations at 7pm but only got 8:15 or later. I finally just reserved an 8:30 seating and had high hopes for the restaurant that seemed extremely popular. However when we go there, there... More

Buffalo ribs and quail burned charcoal black. Perhaps the worst meal I've ever paid for. I literally had to suck on a cough drop and brush my teeth three times to get rid of the bad taste. This was after picking around the parts that were non edible.

A friend chose this restaurant because we had a lot of hunters in our group. It is a neat restaurant with a menu that features many choices of game meats. They have an appetizer sampler that features the customer favorites that is a great place to start if you aren't sure what you like. They also have good ole angus... More

I'm a bit torned about this place because I had a good time but not a great time. I guess for the amount of money paid you figure its outstanding. But then again the kind of food found here is not found just anywhere. I guess this should be a place everyone should experience once and then decide if you... More

Wow! Second time here and still amazing. After paying huge amounts for overpriced Vail restaurants, this place poops all over them at a quarter the price. Amazing food, amazing wine, great staff and unique surroundings. My favourite place to eat. Great cocktails too.

We enjoy the locally sourced Game dishes and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the Valley. The Buffalo Carpaccio and Buffalo Ribeye and various Game samplers with sausages are standouts. The Game dishes can however, be expensive. Their Milkshakes will appeal to Kids. The rear Dining Room is quieter than the front. The decor is a funky mashup... More

We stopped in to get a bite to eat in January and we each got a different steak......I'm not going to say it was the greatest steak I ever had but was good and cooked the way we ordered.....also a very reasonable price.....we will go again.

I had lunch here recently with my husband. We hadn't stopped by in years. They still have the walls filled with taxidermy heads and the tables covered in old ski passes. It is a great place to take the whole family. There is so much to see. ( not for the tender-hearted, animal activist, though) I think it has great... More

We have been to Gas House every year for 8 years. My husband -and I got married in Beaver Creek 1-27-07 and went to the Gas House for our reception dinner. Small group of friends and family. And have came back every year for our Anniversary. Awesome and consistent. We actually tried a new venue with a sleigh ride and... More
