The atmosphere here is great, I love the animal mounts all over the walls- they have everything! The restuarant is cozy also with lots of different rooms and heaps of character. Great restuarant for a date, family or group of friends. The menu is fantastic as well and really fun with all sorts of different game, elk, etc. Real mountain... More

We searched for 4 star restuarants near our vacation place in Avon, CO to have a nice anniversary mean. Found "Gashouse" and their special sounded perfect for our celebatory dinner. But really, what the heck does that name mean anyway? When we were seated I asked what they had to eat that was gluten free and the waiter said, well... More

The Gashouse hasn't changed in years - they still have an eclectic menu & great atmosphere. It's worth another visit.

The prices are really quite high, like what you might see in Vail or Aspen. Even the beer was expensive. My $12 burger, which is just their basic burger, was ordered medium and delivered rare. I ate around the edge where it was more cooked, but the rest of it was uncooked mush. Sadly the server never checked up on... More

Wow, the stuffed animals on the walls were really awesome, especially the water buffalo!! Very large menu selections, full meal, and very tasty.

I wanted to take some people here strictly to try some "gamey" food. It did not disappoint. The Crab Cakes are subpar in my opinion----but----after all, Colorado is a landlocked region. If you dine here, stick to the game menu. It is phenomenal. Service was great too! I'd go back but the fish didn't really rock my world. We also... More

The crab cakes are to die for... real Maryland blue crab and an old family recipe, worth the trip! The buffalo tenderloin was awesome as well. Then there was the mudd pie... need I say more???

Like the low key atmosphere, had lunch and dinner here. Service was great and plenty of choices in food. We enjoyed the Elk and Red Trout for dinner. Great salads, burgers and wraps for lunch.

The Gashouse had excellent meals and service. A unique low key restaurant with plenty of options to chose from. Displays of game trophies abound. Wild game choices are on the menu, including combos offering great choices to try. We had the Elk which was amazing and Red trout, also very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We met the owner...
