They did an interesting take on huevos rancheros, and I enjoyed it. Eggs over crispy tortillas with chilli verde, black beans and ranchero sauce smothered in cheese. If there was any downside it would be the rather could not be bothered service, my girlfriend thought we were rather unwelcome, though having read other reviews it would just appear that grumpy... Came for breakfast on a Saturday. The food here is great, service can improve. Sat outside as was beautiful. Wasn't busy so didn't have to wait. But had to ask for refills on water, didn't get refills on coffee until we asked, server forgot a side, and had to ask for it twice and actually had to go in and... More

SIMPLY HORRIBLE!!! My breakfast came with HAIR cooked into my scrambled eggs! The waitress takes my plate to the kitchen, then returns with the SAME PLATE! REALLY? Bad service, bad food, bad management and way over priced. I am a Vail local for 25 years and have never had such a bad experience in Vail, or anywhere else for that... More

Tired after long hours of traveling and not having anything at home for breakfast we decided to finally try them for a meal. We've enjoyed their coffee and the laid back vibe before. Too laid back this time for sure. You know it's bad when you walk in behind another couple, they order (you order right behind them), they receive... More

Consistent w other reviews. Service was slow and not really attentive. Food was good, but Great delays after ordering coffee, after asking for more water.. Portions are filling but don't go if in a hurry.

We arrived at 9:00 am on a Sunday. At that time the seating was not overly crowded; it took forever to get waited on and I was starting to wonder if our food would arrive before lunch time. The service is terribly long but if you have time to spend the entire morning, the food is excellent. Potatos were some... More

The menus was very good. We only did breakfast but the menus for the rest of the day was very good. All in our party(4) enjoyed their meals.

I am a local in Edwards and every time I have tried to eat breakfast at Café 163 I have experienced horrible slow service. Not just once, but the last 4 times I've been there. It's consistent and I am done trying to give them a chance. There are plenty of other breakfast spots in Edwards and Avon that have... More

Cafe 163 is a bit difficult to describe. It has great coffee/lattes etc. It has great breakfasts and lunches. Soups, sandwiches, eggs, chili etc. And they are all really good! Cafe 163 is well worth the stop in you are in Edwards, Avon or Vail. Good food, good service, good value!
