We tried to get into another restaurant that was totally booked, so maybe I didn't have a high expectation here. For drinks, we started with the Hendricks cooler. Service was a bit slow, for a place that wasn't busy. Bread arrived with some sort of spread that didn't have that much flavor. The veal porcini, however, was good, and a... More

Durango has great restaurants. Being a tourist destination sometimes the locals get weary of paying tourist prices. The food here has never disappointed. Pasta, veal and fish are their specialties. The atmosphere is nice...a little noisy. Service is above average.

Lobster Ravioli is a must. Good sauce, not too rich. good service and big menu with plenty to choose from. Best Italian in Durango.

What superb dining, in doors or out. Wonderful, helpful staff. From Sarah and Haley, wait staff, to Fiona, the receptionist, and Michala, who helped me search out a good movie, the staff are young, but very well trained! The food is exquisitely prepared and presented. The portions are VERY generous. Simply a lovely place to dine where you are made... More

This restaurant purports to be an Italian but shows no signs that we could see of being so. The food was pseudo Italian and lacked flavour or any indication that the chefs knew what Italian food was about. The service was very slow and our waitress apologised for the delay saying "we've got issues in the kitchen". If you are... More

Yes the food is good but there were only a couple other tables there and we waited for 40 minutes (and we ordered right when we sat down). Oh well. You live and you learn. Our server was nice though. I think the kitchen was just on island time or something.

We have visited Durango once a year for the last four years prior to going to a ranch. Have dinner at Mutu's every time...this time twice. Love the pasta. Always cooked perfectly and the sauces are excellent. Our last visit the service was very slow, due to the kitchen not the server. Got a free dessert for our delay. The... More

We found this place and had a great glass of wine outdoors and decided to eat as well. The veal osso bucco was fabulous and so tender it fell off the bone. The veal & ahi combo was terrific. We will go back.

I've been to Mutu's several times and every time I do I say I'm not going back, then 2 years or so later I think "maybe it's gotten better" and try again. Alas it has not. The service is very slow—on our recent visit we waited nearly an hour before our meal was served (thankfully we had ordered an appetizer... More
