We did not eat a meal here, only purchased pastries. The pastries were delicious and we returned multiple times. The croissant options were very good and all the items we bought were fresh and tasty. If we had more time, I would have been tempted to try the restaurant versus just picking up small items at the bakery up front.

I adore a perfectly made croissant. This place delivered them in a sandwich with béchamel, as the star of the Eggs Benedict and drenched with homemade jam beside the perfectly cooked bacon. The cafe au lair was okay but the French toast was perfect. I wish my suitcase could have accommodated the beautiful baguettes that were brought in just as... More

I'd been here several years ago and knew I needed to return. It's just a block from the Durango Rail station and kiosks where you book travel adventures. Warm, flaky croissants are the perfect way to start the day. We ordered chocolate, raspberry and blueberry stuffed croissants.... Yummy! If you are there in the morning, don't pass this place by.... To start croissants are amazing, one of the better ones I ever had. We had dinner one night too and food was lovely. The baked Brie is incredible and service was impeccable . Deserts are definitely exquisite .

My husband and I ducked in here for a quick late lunch a few days ago. We've walked by it a gazillion times, but since we've been doing the low carb thing (and doing it successfully, I might add), we usually pass by quickly. Well, on this particular day, we were hungry. So we took a chance and glanced at... More

If you want a real baguette or croissant or a pastry you'll find them here. The breakfasts are very good, with excellent flavors in the omelets (you can taste each ingredient), and crepes with fruit that is fresh and not overly sweet. The coffee was great. The only drawback is that it is not exactly cheap -- you'll pay 1... More

This place bakes wonderful French pastries, such as plain and filled croissants. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and are heavenly when topped with butter and jam. The other items on the breakfast menu were well done. The breakfast menu items are on the expensive side.

Picked up a few items to go while in historic district. Very fresh, and very delicious! Menu looked interesting, but we only had pastries.

We stop by the bakery each time we are in Durango. This time we decided to have lunch. The food was good. It is a bit high, but it was good. The pastries are better! Their fruit tarts and various flavors of macaroons are our favorite! It is a great snack when you are walking around Durango.

The delicious pastries in the window will draw you in, the building itself is delightful to look at as you sit and wait for your food, brick walls, lots of books and crannies. We had breakfast - the Eggs Benedict and the Country Breakfast, which consisted of eggs, bacon and a delicious homemade croissant. Treat yourself and have cafe au... More
