My wife and I had been eyeing this since we arrived in Durango and was located conveniently across from our hotel, The General Palmer. We were greeted warmly for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We chose to have a sit down meal while the bakery seemed to have a good flow of customers for pastries. Service was fabulous as was... More

My husband and I were looking for a quick light breakfast. A cup of coffee and a pasty was what we were looking for. I got the chocolate croissant and he got the cream cheese croissant. They were divine! They also gave us some samples of their fruit tart and almond tart. Everything we tasted was amazing! The coffee was... More

We stopped here for lunch on a recent visit. Nice decor. The food was excellent. The quiche was wonderful. My spouse had a tuna sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. We bought croissants to eat later. They were excellent. I would definitely recommend stopping at Jean Pierre when visiting Old Town Durango.

We had a wonderful breakfast, great mimosas, tasty coffee and a very pleasant waiter. It was a great experience and set us up well for the rest of a beautiful day. I highly recommend this place. The owner Jean-Pierre is out and about at the restaurant which gives the place a welcoming and informal feel which fits Durango perfectly. They... More

My favorite place for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Mimosas are absolutely delicious, try a different pastry if you can....I tend to select a different pastry on each meal. Their butter cookies are a must. They have a chef who carefully prepares their meals. Every year we visit during the Iron Horse race for four days. I make sure I have... More

I didn't eat at this restaurant and next year will try it. However I did have the pastries and they are excellent, worth the price.

We only tried the bakery. We got the plain, the almond, and the jalapeño croissants. Each was buttery, flaky and like we remember from France. (If the French had jalapeños to add to their cheese fillings.)

Great environment and breakfast menu. A bit on the pricy side but very delicious! I also love the bakery counter, the croissants are fabulous!

We enjoyed the ambience, but felt the menu was somewhat limited. To each his own, but the food was good and the service excellent.

Had a really fantastic dinner at Jean Pierre's about 4 years ago. Really great food and fantastic service. Came back to have a lunch (4 years later) to see if things were the same. Still the same great food and services
