Excellent food. Very lovely, unique restaurant. Unique food.....buffalo, quail, elk, beef tongue, etc. Also, exotic drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) They also have chicken, steaks, etc. The quail with huckleberry sauce is amazing.

This place is amazing and you will not regret making the drive from any distance. They have a diverse and wide variety of regional cuisine right down to Rattlesnake, Buffalo, Elk, Beef, etc...... You get what you pay for here and that's saying a mouthful. Check it out and you won't forget the experience and you will be talking about... More

We've visited Durango twice this fall and have eaten at Farquahrts three times. Here's our breakdown, and hope it helps: GOODS + Unique inside with a fireplace right in front + Location (right near Strater on Main & 2nd) + Pizza (per the hubbie, though I think that's a matter of opinion, as the thin, wheat crust and sauce seemed... Was at this place 17 years ago and it was fantastic. Went back for a visit in august and it was horrible. Lousy food and service.

Great pizza, good service. A little high price wise, but it seems in-line with most restaurants here in Durango. Definitely the best pizza we've had here during our time in Colorado.

The inside is a beautiful old turn-of-the-century (20th century, that is) building with vaulted tin ceilings. We both had the linguini with marinara. My sister loved it. I thought it was okay but a bit too rich with a really strong basil flavor (I like a little basil but I'm not a huge fan). Our meal's came with garlic toast... More

We came up to Durango from Phoenix (the weather is so much nicer!) and after a long mountain bike ride we asked around for the best pizza in town. Many people recommended this place. They have this great, whole wheat crust and plenty of toppings. Delicious! Our server was really helpful and actually quite entertaining. The restaurant was decorated with some... More

The reviews in the local dining guide gave us the impression that the best pizza in town could be found here. We walked into a historic looking room with high-vaulted ceiling, decorated with a really interesting collection of items ranging from modern to early 1900’s. We waited around for a few minutes for someone to seat us, or even greet... More
