We had the show -dinner combo, everyone at the table had the bacon wrapped filet except for myself, they were still talking about the tenderness of the steak two days later! I had the shrimp scampi which was tasty but a little in the scrimpy side, there were four large shrimp and two servings of potatoes, while it was good... More

Awesome dinner! Highly recommend it. Steaks expertly cooked and the plate combination of vegetables and meat was outstanding! Won't miss it if I am fortunate enough to pass through this way again!

This was the first part of a dinner and show package. We must have hit the restaurant when they were really on. My wife had the gnocchi dish and I had the lemon chile salmon. The entire meal from the salad through the dessert was wonderful and the service was excellent.

As part of the starter theater we purchased the show dinner. What a great way start our evening. There was soup or salad. Several main courses with desert and coffee. I had the lemon shrimp scampi with potatoes with prosciutto. My wife had the potato encrusted chicken. Both dishes were wonderful.

This little restaurant has a great Victorian Era feel to it! I had the special, flat iron steak with a chili/coconut sauce that was really good. The roasted potatoes that came with it were not completely done though. My son is a chef and chose this restaurant to try and had a chicken dish ( I was really surprised that... More

Now THIS is a treat- from the atmosphere to the food. It is located in the Strater Hotel, which is an old Victorian type, and the restaurant is all wood and leather. Our waiter was nice and the price was great as it was a package deal with the melodrama. Included was either soup or salad, the main course of... More

We stopped in for a glass of wine, appetizer and salad before the Melodrama. Didn't have two of the wines on their list that the server recommended. Took 30 minutes to get the appetizer which was bread, tomatoes and garlic. Another 20 minutes to get salads. They did comp the appetizer but our tab was still over $60. Would not... More

We were in Durango for an overnight stay, and decided upon the Mahogany Grille. We had an excellent dinner. Service was attentive but not annoying. Wonderful dining. We did not have a reservation, but we had an early dinner. I would recommend Mahogany for a relaxed fine dining experience.
