Late dinner

We arrived very late but still got a good table and were served promptly. Good tasty steaks but the rare was MR and the MR was rather well done. Good wine list with a large selection of Pinots. Located in the very busy historic center of the city.

Walked in and didn't quite know what to expect. My husband got the soup du jour which was Asian pork belly. This was against my better judgement... it was unpalatable. My food was very marginal and expensive. I rarely leave bad reviews on TA but I rely on them to guide my choices. Lots of nice places in Durango keep... More

This restaurant never fails to please: it's beautifully appointed with excellent service and a very fine menu. There is no other restaurant in town that can compete with the historic elegance that wraps it arms around you. We go often.

We took a weekend break from our busy schedule to spend the weekend in Durango. Our first stop was dinner on Friday night at this wonderful restaurant. We've eaten here several times in the best few years because we love it. I had the scallops and Phil had the house specialty steak and then shared. Great service is always a... More

Beautiful dining room in an historic hotel. Reservations recommended. Kenny was our wonderful server and was smiling, helpful and attentive. Drink orders taken and hot, lemon-scented towels are offered. (When was the last time you saw that in a restaurant?) A separate waitress delivers warm, fresh bread with two different dipping bowls of seasoned olive oil, and another of cream-based... More

Breakfast came with our room, service was a good, selection and food was good for a buffet. I would recommend you give it a try just for the atmosphere.

There is nothing about this restaurant that isn't top-notch - our server Nolan was attentive but didn't hover, the presentation beautiful, and the elk was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a special evening complete with great ambience.
