We were in Durango for an overnight stay, and decided upon the Mahogany Grille. We had an excellent dinner. Service was attentive but not annoying. Wonderful dining. We did not have a reservation, but we had an early dinner. I would recommend Mahogany for a relaxed fine dining experience.

This was a great way to spend a little time while waiting for the daily rain to stop. Had got there by train, and needed some refreshment. If you are in SIngleton, and want a great beer, visit, you will not be disappointed

This is a nice restaurant with great service. The salads are really good and the desserts are spectacular. The entrees on the other hand were not impressive. My mother had the quail which was okay and I had the mushroom ravioli which was awful (the pasta was too thick and undercooked). Had the carmelized peach for dessert and it was... More

I had breakfast and a reception with food from this restaurant. Both meals were very good. I wished they had been a bit more variety in the breakfasts, since I ate there three mornings in a row. But it was always good.

We ate well in several of the best rated Durango restaurants during our visit, but this was the standout meal. The lamb chops were among the tastiest anywhere in the world. The service was friendly but not as attentive as it might have been. Had to ask twice to block out the music from the adjacent bar that clashed with... More

We dined here with a group of 10 friends. We had the Prix Fixe menu. It was very reasonably priced and everyone's food was delicious.

The Mahogany Grill is part of the Strater Hotel. I had a roasted beat salad that was large enough to split and very tasty. The three of us had trout. It was delicious and prepared very well. The creme brûlée was also quite good. I felt the food was reasonably priced and the service was attentive. I would definitely dine... More

I dined at the Mahogany Grille twice whilst during my weekend visit to Durango in March 2013. I couldn't fault the service or the food. This is up there with the best restaurants I have visited in other countries.
