I've lived in Durango for 10 years & the Red Snapper is our favorite place. Excellent in every category. Excellent salad bar that comes with all meals, fresh fish & big portions. Too expensive? Hello - Lobster is expensive! Priced right for what you get. Recommend highly.

While visiting durango i wanted some seafood, so what better place to try than "The Red Snapper"? Not a place I plan to visit on my next trip to Durango. The food was mediocre, waaaay over priced and the attitude of the management was certainly something I've never experienced before. Upon sharing my dissatisfaction, with the manager/owner, it was if he... More

I'm really surprised by some of the other reviews on here because we had an excellent experience. We just stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. We both had seafood and it was amazing! The included salad bar was amazingly good and the variety was excellent. The service was excellent and their suggestions were right on.... More

We have been here a few times in the early 2000s and loved the food. This time it was not as good as it used to be. I'd put the restaurant as average overall for a restaurant in this price range. The salad bar was fresh and plenty of items. The entrees were good but not great. Portions were reasonable.... More

Yesterday ..the same thing happened to us.at this place ! You want the happy hour special...you must sit at the bar. Must be a mandate from the manager. Restauranters are hurting for business and the last thing they need to do .....is not to assume that the customer is always right. We left also as the menu was overpriced and... More

We walked in and checked out the salad bar as it is only one of two restaurants in town with a salad bar. The salad bar had a nice variety of items to select from. We sat down to eat and my husband asked for the happy hour beer special and we were told that the happy hour price was... More

They had not checked the computer for online reservations which we placed a day before, so they had no record of us when we arrived. We waited while they pulled together a table for our party. Two of our guests were left sitting with table extensions which weren't flush and slanted downward during their meal. While the food was good,... More

Web reservations made in the morning and not found upon our arrival at 5:00p. A coupon we were attempting to use stated: “with this ad, buy two entrees, get a calamari or death by chocolate free" It did not state a limit, one per table or one coupon required for each dessert. Waitress said no, then the owner arrived at... More
