Always known for their seafood, I took my wife there for a special celebration a couple of nights ago. We both had the pistachio and coconut encrusted halibut as our entrée which was absolutely out of this world. Perfectly cooked and very nicely presented on top of--- you won't believe this--- mashed potatoes. I would never have thought that would've... More

This restaurant is a tad "off Broadway", or more precisely, about half a block away from the artery of the historic downtown Durango, but it is definitely worth a visit, if you are into a classy dining environment. We had our first visit a couple of days ago and ordered a salmon special and an ahi tuna steak special. The... More

I've seen other reviews for this restaurant that complained but I found nothing lacking. The steak was excellent, as was the service. The Manhattan I had could have been better.

Casual but friendly, nice bar selection with my Kentucky bourbons. We had the salmon and trout. Both were excellent but the salmon was one of the best I have had. Appeared blackened but was not, the waiter told me that put brown sugar on the salmon.

The Red Snapper is on of mine and my husbands favorite Durango restaurants for either lunch or dinner. The have an incredible fresh fish selection and the best salad bar in Durango. Have never had a bad meal in the 20 years i have been going there.

Always great food and service. Stopped in to take advantage of their 1/2 price happy hour specials, and great kids menu.

The food was good (not great), and maybe a little pricey for what we got. The service was great. Very polite waitress. Everything was yummy, but I guess I just expected it to to a little...better. I think it was just kinda average. We'll probably come back. It's not like we had a bad experience, but it's not at the... More

The lobster pot pie was burned with two chunks of lobster, tasted ok but nothing extraordinary. Steak and shrimp was average, stuffed mushroom appetizers again . . . average. The "death by chocolate" was chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was an expensive evening, and we felt rushed, the waitress kept coming around to try to hurry... More
