Went with my husband for our anniversary and from start to finish our experience was excellent. Our waiter Buzz was attentive and quick. The food was great. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer which were to die for. The salad bar was clean and good variety. Overall a very good choice we made.

After hours of restraint researching we decided to come here for our anniversary. We were seated very quickly. Our waiter was Buzz (no not from Toy Story!). I got to say he is the best waiter that we had ever had. My tea never went below 3/4. Very attentive. He made our experience at this restraunt very pleasurable. My wife... More

Alaskan crab and Prime rib were great, warm atmosphere, outstanding baked potato, and crab stuffed mushrooms with a nice kick were outstanding.

Our party of 6 arrived and was seated right away. Our server was very nice and did a wonderful job. We had 6 different entrees and all were excellent with the exception of the green beans not being cooked enough. they were still hard and cold! The trout was excellent and it is always a blessing to get a piping... More

My friends and I dined at the The Red Snapper recently. We shared the oysters Rockefeller as an app. It was okay. A little on the dry side. I chose the Ruby Red Trout for my entree. Trout wouldn't be a normal choice for me. I was pleasantly surprised. What caught my attention in the description was the crawfish sauce.... More

The second night, it was grandpa's choice to pick a restaurant and I chose The Red Snapper because it was the only place in Durango offering Cioppino. If you don't know, it's a tomato based fish stew with all kinds of fish and it's grandpa's favorite. The restaurant was a little more expensive than Carver's, where we went the first... More

While in Durango we went to the Red Snapper after riding the train. We got there in time for 1/2 off appetizers and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much we stayed for dinner. Would have gone a second night if we ha been there.

Stay focused, look straight at those you are dining with and directly on your plate. Don't look over your shoulder, to the floor, the walls, the fixtures, the tops of the seats.... that dust is glued on, as if they haven't cleaned in a tremendous amount of time. Lunch was really good. The salmon was cooked to perfection!! The waitress... More

Always known for their seafood, I took my wife there for a special celebration a couple of nights ago. We both had the pistachio and coconut encrusted halibut as our entrée which was absolutely out of this world. Perfectly cooked and very nicely presented on top of--- you won't believe this--- mashed potatoes. I would never have thought that would've... More
