The Red Snapper is an understated gem that has won many awards - we are so glad we chose to dine here! The food is outstanding in every way - we chose salmon, but it was really hard to choose from a great menu with plenty of fish choices as well as meat. It is a relaxing place with a... More

I miss the old school salad bars with dozens of items. That's why I eat here when in town. Starts with the chilled plate. The fill it to your liking with all the goodies. The service is always excellent. The seafood is superior. A nice romantic joint.

We returned to Red Snapper after eating there on a winter trip in 2010 . We made a reservation for a Tuesday night which helped us get seated next to one of the aquariums. This is a very nicely decorated and laid out place. My husband had already decided to have the scallop entree with butternut squash risotto as that... More

While visiting from out of town my boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner on our last night. Omg it was amazing, we ordered the mahi mahi, halibut special, lobster bisque soup, and calamari. Everything was amazing I've tried calamari 3 other times and its always been over or under cooked, and this was perfect and the lemon lime sauce... More

Although a little pricey like most downtown restaurants are, this establishment has wonderful seafood. The wait staff is extremely friendly. (I think Buzz was name of our waiter.) The manager is also very concerned that his customers enjoy their dining experience. I received a delicious chocolate dessert compliments of the restaurant because it was my birthday, too!

We ate here and had great appetizers and dinner. The mahi-mahi, crab cakes and mushroom stuffed crab was excellent. It is a little pricey but good!

Be sure to try the Ruby Red Trout and start with the Calamari if you get a chance.. Flavors were beyond excellent and portions were large... Wait staff was courteous and made us feel like we owned the place without the usual air of pretense.. Highly recommended.

This was my choice for my birthday dinner on our last day in town and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Boulevadier cocktail and Bloody Mary. Oysters on the half shell, tuna tar tar, and oysters rockefeller were all superb. The kids got various items from the kid's menu which were huge portion sizes. Great value during happy... More

We ate here for dinner one night while in the area. The meal was great. I am from Texas and eat seafood a lot, I enjoyed the meal. I had the mahi mahi which was great, my son had steak which he said was good. I would return if I were ever back in the area. The restaurant itself was... More
