Good but not great

Our family ate dinner here. You do not get complimentary chips and salsa like most restaurants. The food was good but kind of expensive. The complimentary sopapillas were bad....completely undercooked.

This restaurant was ok in some aspects..good chips and salsa, staff was friendly, but have definitely had better food elsewhere. Sopapillas were greasy, food was bland..will probably try somewhere else next time.

We are from Texas and we were looking for some good Mexican food. We found good food here but the service was terrible, had to get the bus boy to get the attention of our waitress just to pay our bill because she was too buy chatting with one person to notice anyone.

New Mexican restaurant -- Mexican with a twist -- emphasis on New Mexico Chiles. Delicious -- try it Christmas style (both red and greed). The sapodillas they serve with butter and honey are wonderful -- light, airy pastry with butter and locally produced honey. The perfect ending to a spicy meal.

We like spicy and this did not disappoint! The chilli rellenos were some of the best I've had. I substituted the beans and rice for pinto beans glad I did. Delicious! My husband was very pleased with his meal. Large portions and full of flavor. The service was great. Will definitely be coming back!

We did not love Gazpachos. The service was great and very friendly, the atmosphere was nice, but the food was mediocre. I love chile rellenos and get them whenever I can, but these were bland and swimming in a pool of liquid. The rellenos were soggy and pretty flavorless. On the menu, they make a big deal about the green... More

We went here our first night in Durango and were very impressed. We're from New Mexico and found the bright, informal décor familiar and cheery. Service was great, and tasty $3 margaritas were welcome. The shredded beef flat enchiladas were mouthwatering and so big I took almost half the portion home. Chile relleno was also good. Despite being very busy,... More

Good kid's choices, vegetarian options. New Mexican style I don't think is mine. Chili sauces didn't have much flavor to me. My vegetarian tamales only seemed to have masa and corn kernels not any other veggies. All in all flavor was fine just nit stellar.
