This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Durango. It reminds us restaurants in Santa Fe and Taos because they serve sopapillas and your choice of green or red chili and they also have blue tortillas. Great Margaritas like we used to have in Texas. However, a while back they stopped serving free chips and salsa which we felt was not... More

Just had a light lunch at Gazpacho - I did not want to eat that much (and their portions are large!!) - so I ordered the "kids taco plate". That was just great, a very good shredded beef taco with rice and beans - p.s. it went just great with my "adult margarita"!!! From previous visits - I recommend their... More

Most people want to go to Francisco's but I prefer Gazpacho because they use Hatch green chili, making their food quite tasty. The portions are adequate however they quit giving out chips and salsa unless you ask for them. I always order the Green chicken enchiladas which you can have with either blue/yellow corn tortillas. The servers are always nice... More

I come here for the sopapillas alone. Fresh honey, they are divine. Along with enchiladas and a raspberry Margarita. Been coming for 10 years and I keep coming back.

I still don't like New Mexican food . Not much else I can say. Be prepared to wait . Not enough waiters and that was after a 40 min wait for a table

Did not dine in (we had the dogs) and did the to go. My husband chatted with the owner (very friendly) while waiting for our order. We had stuffed sopapillas with carne adovada (big chunks of pork) for both of us, with chips and salsa. Their chips and salsa - GREAT! Fresh chips and the salsa had heat. You need... More

This meal was a pleasant surprise because I wasn't expecting to get this much excellent Mexican food for the money. They served the BEST chips and salsa ever! Both the red and green salsa were really great and spicy. The only thing that could have been better was Kayleigh could have brought me a substitute “free” desert that came with... More

Tuesday evening early. The place was packed for $2 taco night. We arrived before 6 and had to wait a few minutes. The hostess was very friendly and kept us up to date on what was happening. Gazpacho is a New Mexican restaurant, that is food from the state of New Mexico as opposed to a new kind of Mexican... More

The staff are rude and no one knows what is going on even tho half of them claim to be THE MANAGER!!! I would NEVER recommend... More
