Good lunch option

We ate lunch here and got the buffet. For $9.99 it's very good value and all you can eat. About 3/4 of it was vegetarian, plus only a few dishes with meat in them (lamb, chicken, and tandoori chicken too). The location is right in downtown, and the atmosphere is pretty nice. Lots of seating... read more

I always come for the lunch buffet. The buffet is filled with authentic food, all you can eat, and attentive servers. Right on Main Street.

We finally made it back for the lunch buffet where you don't have to be a world traveler to eat a delicious meal. Choices were few but all were great (and labeled). By far the best food for the money anywhere around. Even better, we found a detailed brochure describing their many entrees. (If the staff had bothered to provide... More

I always feel like family here, the food is rich and delicious and the chai is great! I enjoy the vegetarian dishes but the lamb is also good. The buffet is great and it comes with naan bread.

I must admit I found portions small and the food a bit bland. The rice was bland, the korma was bland, though I will say the cheese na'an was good. The cheese was bland but the bread was soft and just a little doughy.

Nice change, combination of Indian and Asian. Lamb and especially Yak aren't on a lot of menus. They are very prevalent and nicely done here.

When we we visited Durango we found this lovely restaurant with good food and nice people. A family restaurant?? We had a curry with shrimps and a beef dish with rice! Both delicious.

As a family we're into Indian, Nepalese and other central asian cuisine so we were excited to see the Himalayan Kitchen while in Durango on spring break. This place turned out to be some of the best food we've ever had. We ate a rather late dinner and didn't have any wait to get seated. The place was warm and... More

A great selection of indian and nepalese food. The servers were attentive and they had some delicious house cocktails. We had the moo moo as a starter, they were great and then we had chicken makani and chow chow. The chicken makani was delicious and we also had a cheese naan. I would recommend the Himalayan kitchen if you are... More

Absolutely enjoyed our dinner with delicious preparations, there was nothing left! We had never had the noodle dish from the mountains with chicken and lamb. We also ordered vegetarian dishes with eggplant. Nice ambience and article about the chef at the door entrance!
