It was so refreshing to find such a restaurant. We shared the Yak Mo Mo (Yak meat dumplings), Chicken Vindaloo and Garlic Naan. Everything was great on the palate. Our servers were very nice and courteous. We had a nice leisurely meal. For dessert we shared some Kheer. Next time you're in Durango, try something new and expand your horizons.

My wife and I were in Durango as part of a motorhome trip around the west. We found Himilayan Kitchen from reviews here on TripAdvisor. The business does a very strong lunch buffet business. The manager and wait-staff were very nice and quickly seated us and invited us to go to the buffet, if that was our choice. As others... More

Fantastic! Traditional and Colorado inspired Himalayan cuisine. Everything from momo's to vindaloo with chicken to yak. Went back twice it was so delicious. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It is very easy to order too much food, it all sounds and tastes so delicious.

While traveling from eastern North Carolina to California and back we ate at a lot of restaurants. We were in Durango on a busy Saturday night and looked at the Himalayan Kitchen menu and it looked interesting. Wow, what a delightful surprise. We had a lamb korma - curry dish with coconut milk on rice and a salmon korma curry... More

We are so fortunate to have this restaurant in Durango, the food is fantastic. The service is also fantastic. While waiting for my take out order, I was served a cup of hot chai (it was a cold rainy day) and offered a seat. Everything we have ordered is always excellent.

The name "Himalayan Kitchen" drew our attention, the menu drew us inside. Featuring foods from Nepal, Tibet, and India, this cozy restaurant offers something for everyone in the family. We started with a Mo Mo appetizer (we had a mix of vegetable, chicken, and lamb - All were great), and then we each ordered something different so that we could... More

Affordable, Ethnic, and Fresh. Our kids even like it now after years of protest. Our favorite dishes are anything tandoori, Lamb Saag, Kathmandu chicken, masala chicken and the house special pan fried noodles. We often hit up "The Kitchen" for lunch as their buffet always has excellent all u can eat choices for around 10 bucks.

Not to be missed. Authentic mouth-watering cuisine, friendly, helpful staff, made us wish we lived close by and could come here often. Handled a party of 15 without a hitch. The Bhaktapurae Chhoiia with chicken is awesome. Try it!!! This restaurant will be the culinary highlight of your vacation.
