Very enjoyable experience

Went to the Ore House for a light dinner and drinks last night. It's one of our favorite places in Durango. I had the Hickory Smoked Cherry Manhattan, a lovely sipping drink. We had the Calamari & Artichoke app and Lobster Bisque. Both were excellent. It's a real treat to sit at the bar and... read more

The staff was very friendly and we loved the cornbread. My husband and I ordered the halibut and it was dry and over cooked. We thought it was too pricey and expected a better quality of food.

Excellent meat here, perfectly cooked, nice sides. You can add lobster if you like but we sticked to the NY strip and rib eye and ut was great.

First, we made a reservation, and they know how to keep a reservation. These people get the job done. They bring out a hot pan of bacon butter cornbread. This was a first for us, but it was really awesome. We ordered lobster and steak. I recommend the mashed potatoes. They are more than just mashed potatoes. All Amazing! We... More

This one of our favorite restaurants in Durango. The food is always good and there is something for everyone. Healthy choices but also hearty steaks as well.

Our family enjoyed a nice dinner at the Ore House on August 2nd. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the side dishes were great. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

We had the filet and petite filet which were cooked to perfection and very tender. The prices were rather steep and most things are a la carte so it adds up fast. Apparently is not too expensive for a tourist town since was packed and you definitely should get a reservation. The cornbread was a disappointment but we like it... More

The surroundings are very western cowboy like. Both had the dry-aged new strip steak, one rare and one medium rare cooked to perfection. The sides were tasty, good wine list. The star of this restaurant is the whiskey collection. The barman is very knowledgeable and presented us with two outstanding rye wiskey. Price was a steal. Great place.

The ore house is a great place to treat yourself to a huge, awesome tasting steak. The price is on the high side, but, the quality and service is worth it. We were seated immediately without reservations, also. I loved the way they prepare creamed corn and corn bread, too. So good
