We had dinner on a chilly Saturday evening. They seated us outdoors in an enclosed "tent" with a real cozy heater. The service was on point, the martini was excellent, and all the food came prepared perfectly. Even with our 4 year old ordering a butter pasta, we all enjoyed it. A perfect precursor before we hit the Durango Polar... More

We stayed one night in downtown Durango after several nights on the mountain skiing. We stayed at The Strater (which was absolutely fabulous!) and chose to visit Ken & Sue's across the street for dinner. We loved it!! My boyfriend teased that we should stay another night in Durango just so we can eat here again! We actually did try... More

We walked into Ken & Sue's on a Sunday night on graduation weekend. The host was accommodating and gave us a booth for 6 by the window even though we didn't have a reservation and the place was packed. Our server was a little too casual with us, but wasn't terrible. They had a great selection of wines by the... More

We heard that when in Durango, Ken & Sue's is a must. We secured a last minute reservation on our final night in town. The food is very good (seafood dishes, especially) and the menu was surprisingly modern. The staff was great...everyone was friendly and seemed truly happy to be there serving you a meal. It is very small, but... More

This is a prize of a restuarant. I was very pleased with the service as well as the food. Nice atmosphere to dine in and pleasant servers. It is right on Main Street which makes it so convenient.

We popped in here in the evening for a bottle of red wine and some bread. Bartender recommended a nice $40 bottle and we were pleased with the quality. Unfortunatley, the bread from the kitchen came out doughy and raw. We sent it back. Second time came out just the same. Not edible. Don't know about the food at this... More

The service was great, but the wine list is boring and expensive. The strip steak was good, but not as rare as I'd asked for. I'm willing to try it again though.

If you are looking for a restaurant with a great menu, good service, kid friendly and an amazing outdoor dining experience, then this is the place to go. Their specials and potato soap were delicious? They feature local wines. The kid menu offers chicken strips, quesadillas and burgers. They were very generous portions. I recommend dining outdoors during the winter.... More
