After being turned away at Guido's at 7:45 on a Saturday night because they didn't want to seat any more patrons for the night, two locals overheard (were very surprised and said the owner would be angry) and highly recommended Cyprus Cafe. It was our anniversary on the return trip from a family emergency. Cyprus staff was very welcoming. We... More

While walking down East 2nd Avenue, we came upon this small restaurant with wonderful Patio Jazz entertainment and GREAT food ! Our party of three enjoyed the music, wine and an exceptional meal.

Dropped in for an early dinner. The lace has a cool, relaxed patio ambiance. Outstanding server helped us decide between menu and specials (Greek "ravioli" and halibut), which were awesome. Bread and olive oil freebies, and decent cocktails. All for a very reasonable price. We will be back next trip.

The food and exotic drinks were excellent along with the service. Make sure you try this place, it was our favorite in Durango.

While all the meals weren't terrible, the trout was great, but a very small portion. The duck was cooked raw and we had to send it back. The roasted chicken was overcooked, but the kids liked their burgers. Overall, for the money, it is NOT worth it. The service was lacking and for fine dining, you can do much better... More

Pay for what you get, and that is great food. I've never had a bad meal here. The indoor or outdoor is small, but beautiful. Love the service. Last lunch was with 8 people, all food was delicious. Full wine list and several beers, but a limited bar selection. Like children in a restaurant, well behaved, quiet dogs are no... More

My family ate here for dinner during a June 2014 visit to Durango. We ate after a long day on the bus/train trip to Silverton. I thought the food was outstanding. My wife and daughter liked it very much too, although my son was a little less enthusiastic (he is not very adventurous when it comes to food). It certainly... More

This place is very expensive for what you get the food was good and the service was good, it was great to have live jazz, but but I don't understand why people bring their dogs to a restaurant and this place allows people to bring in their dogs small large doesn't matter I have a problem with paying high prices... Service is decent. Your kind of squished inside, not much room. I ordered a vegetarian dish - I was embarrassed to pay for this item at all.

I love the atmosphere here-- charming patio in the summer, cozy inside in the winter, the smiling and welcoming staff, and the sophisticated food. With the emphasis on local fare and the accommodation of my diet, I think the owner (Alison) has done a stand-up job of creating a lovely abode.
