Great historic bar. Fantastic wood work and decor. Nice cocktail waitress, don't know if the drinks were exceptional but they were okay. Went there twice while visiting, once enjoyed the live music. Worth a visit.

On our first trip to Durango and we walked in on a whim just because we looked in the window and it looked cozy. We were not disappointed. We had not reservation and other than the curious look on the staff's faces when we first walked in and asked for a table (as if we were supposed to know the... More

Looked pleasant enough from the menu and the outside so we went in. Ordered drinks and waited - and waited. Eventually they arrived and the food was ordered. And we waited. And we waited. After about 45 mins and several reminders the first course came - with very little apology. Another long long wait and the mains arrived. The explanation... More

The food was great, but the service was better. The interior was interesting and comforting. For food, they have a wide range of exciting and local favorites.

Stopped by for drinks and had the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. They were very good. It was happy hour and they had 50c off - not a great bargain but a nice place to sit and have a drink.

Tried both bars in The Strater Hotel, if I was going back I'd probably head for The Diamond Belle instead

I ordered the Trout & Eggs the first morning, it was delightful. The 2nd morning a member of my party ordered it, on my recommendation, it was a nothing like what had the prior day. The fish was "crusted" with blue corn tortilla chip chunks and was tasteless, green chilies also had found their was on to the plate. The... More

As a local, I used to go here often for Happy Hour with friends but we hadn't been there in several months until this week, and things have changed. Our favorite appetizers, the mussels and truffle fries, are no longer on the menu and the ones now on the menu, such as the pizza, are much less interesting and not... More

Had a delicious 'Dirty Burger' here. Great service, attentive but not too much. The atmosphere was perfect, relaxing and intimate with a brilliant guitarist playing. Really good evening.
