The food was very average and extremely expensive. The view of the river was very nice though and I enjoyed the location.

The service was attentive, friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately the food wasn't so good. I only had one dish, grilled shrimp with basmati rice. For $24 I received 6 quite small over cooked shrimp with reheated rice. The sauce was lovely but the prawns...

I have stayed at the Doubletree hotel in Durango several times, but this was my first visit to the little outdoor cafe. What a delightful experience! We had the Greek sandwich special of the day and it was delicious. There were beautiful hanging baskets of flowers all along the railing, and we were 15 feet from the animas river. We... More

It was Saturday late afternoon and we wanted a nice quiet place, where we were outdoors, able to enjoy a gentle breeze and the sights and sounds of the Animas River. That included some rafters that were enjoying the peaceful surroundings as they floated the river... a lazy hazy afternoon for everyone. There were only about half the tables that... More

What a great place along the Animas to have lunch in the shade outdoors, watch the rafters, kayakers, and inner tubers float down the river, watch people walk or ride their bikes nearby. We enjoyed the half sandwich and salad at lunch for $8.95 each. Good food as well as service... Couldn't have been any better...

This was a nice stop on the bicycle trail for parking the bike and eating lunch. Outdoor seating with river view. Food and service was very good but a little on the pricey side. (Need to pay for that view!)

Durango offers many fine dining experiences, but none that are right on the river! You may enter this venue from the River Walk, and it does not have the feel of a "hotel" restaurant at all. Enjoyed the beautiful Animas, fresh flowers, evening music was fantastic. Food, service, and drinks were good. The overall experience was very relaxing and enjoyable.... More

We were expecting a great experience at the restaurant based on our experiences at the Doubletree but were very disappointed. After we were seated, we were ignored. Finally, someone took our drink order, but then nothing ....... We went to the hostess and shortly our drinks arrived. Again, a long wait until our food order was taken. Our soup was... More

Great place for lunch. There are a lot of good places in town, but it is nice to get away from the extra people. The service and the food was very good. If you are in the mood for a drink they have a great selection. It was fun watching the people rafting down the river. Another must stop. BUD... More

Fantastic waiter and staff were very courteous and friendly. The views of the river with all of the locals using the river was a neat sight. The live jazz was also a memorable experience. I had a ranchers salad that I enjoyed. The prices are a bit high for some things on the menu, but the food, good service and... More
