As Durango residents, we know the local restaurant scene. Because we are a tourist town, there is a lot of mediocre food for too high a price. Thanks goodness for Guido's, a charming, small, very clean and utterly delicious place for lunch, dinner, to-go items or gourmet items to cook at home. Guido's is just a few blocks from the... More

Very Overpriced for what little ok quality food that you get. They should have stayed with the idea of being a market

Great place, it took a few visits before I really appreciated it. I am an eggplant parm fan and Guidio's is not my favorite. The best of Guido's for me is the plain pasta dishes (ragu, garlic and pepper, alfredo etc). We usually start with a bottle of wine and a plate of Brushcetta followed by one of the afore... More

The deli and food were well priced and pretty fresh. But the tablecloths were absolutely filthy and so were the pillows on the couches. If they would simply clean a little bit you would really find it to be quite a lovely little place. If u can overlook that, lunch was good food and fair prices.

We had dinner here based on the recommendation of someone local. As soon as we walked in, we loved the restaurant / Italian store feel, and planned on returning the next day to purchase items for a picnic for our trip back to Denver. The bread was fresh and the meal good. The portions were small. My husband received a... More

It is a nice little deli/market, and the food is good, but the overall service is terrible. My partner wanted linguine instead of fettuccine in his Alfredo and the server said ok, then when the meal was served he got fettuccine and asked the server why. The server made BS excuses about how they didn't have linguine (even though over... More

This is a favorite place to go in the summer months because you can eat indoors or out. Food is authentic Italian. You can order off the menu or purchase from the deli. Unique atmosphere.

I was attracted to Guido's by their menu on-line. I have spent a lot of time in Italy and have been hard pressed to find the quality of food as I had tonight (even in New York). They only fell short on the espresso (a bit watery). Don't let that stop you, the menu and wine selection were on the... More

My husband and I just had a late lunch at Guido's. Every aspect of our experience was perfect, from the service (Michael) to the wine to the cheese plate to the shrimp ravioli. Nice job Sean!

I went there with a co-worker on a business trip. I felt like I was back in Italy. I saw the chef hand-making the butternut squash ravioli!!! The guy in the deli let me try a variety of cheeses, they were so good I had to take some home. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! They are a... More
