Will Be Back!

Husband & I were in Durango a few weeks ago & did not feel like the usual fare of downtown. Heard about Guido's & thought we would give it a try. Once we found it ( not in the usual downtown ) had a wonderful experience & meal. Guido's is not your usual American/ Italian restraint. Very laid... read more

Recommended by locals for great authentic Italian food. Wanted the oxtail stew but it wasn't available. So chose the clams n seafood pasta. Loved it! My partner tried the meatloaf n it was great with a nice rich sauce. Desserts were tiramisu n the gelato, all of which were home made, and they were delicious! With no liquor ordered the... More

We love sitting at the bar sharing the cheese and meat plate. It's a great place for quiet conversation and great food.

We always enjoy our meals here. Whether we have lunch or dinner the food is delicious. Good wine, food menu and dessert selections. The tiramisu is the best, not the soggy mess that is often served in restaurants. The cannoli is crisp. The restaurant is on 12th and Main putting it a few blocks north of most of the restaurants... Good Italian food with great service. We really enjoyed our meal. My only complaint is that the portions were a bit small for the price. Durango is an expensive town for food so I understand the price, but I felt like we should have gotten more for our money.

My family and I were visiting Durango and decided to to try Guido's at the urging of a local. We have been to Italy several times and it has become one of our favorite foodie destinations - we never expected to find such authentic Italian cuisine in this town. We began our experience with lemon martinis, made with limoncello, but... More

Stopped by here today to buy a light lunch "to go". Two tough crusty rolls, each about 5" in length (apparently called a growler- search me!), "filled" with some nice salami and some tasteless cheese. And the price? Just a shade under $18. Have had better main courses in Italy for a fraction of the price (yes, really). Thank God... More

A surprising find in the town of Durango, Colorado this restaurant serves locally sourced ingredients prepared in an elegant modern manner. Combination of ingredients elicits taste bud happiness where one savors the layers of flavors in each dish. Definitely a destination for Italian food.

As someone who loves Italian ("Everything you see I owe to pasta" -Sophia Loren) I was very pleased to find this modern eatery. While it was in a non-descript commercial building the premises themselves were modern and relaxed , surrounded by the products sold in the attached Italian deli. The service was efficient and the staff were attentive and friendly... More
