My family and I were visiting Durango and decided to to try Guido's at the urging of a local. We have been to Italy several times and it has become one of our favorite foodie destinations - we never expected to find such authentic Italian cuisine in this town. We began our experience with lemon martinis, made with limoncello, but... More

Stopped by here today to buy a light lunch "to go". Two tough crusty rolls, each about 5" in length (apparently called a growler- search me!), "filled" with some nice salami and some tasteless cheese. And the price? Just a shade under $18. Have had better main courses in Italy for a fraction of the price (yes, really). Thank God... More

A surprising find in the town of Durango, Colorado this restaurant serves locally sourced ingredients prepared in an elegant modern manner. Combination of ingredients elicits taste bud happiness where one savors the layers of flavors in each dish. Definitely a destination for Italian food.

As someone who loves Italian ("Everything you see I owe to pasta" -Sophia Loren) I was very pleased to find this modern eatery. While it was in a non-descript commercial building the premises themselves were modern and relaxed , surrounded by the products sold in the attached Italian deli. The service was efficient and the staff were attentive and friendly... More

Perfect place to go if you don't want to dress up but still felt like a better than nice restaurant. Good service, good food equals happy customers.

This small Italian restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes al la carte. We were happy with the location of this restaurant on Main Street but on the opposite end away from most of the crowds. We were able to park on the street right next to the restaurant and did not have to pay the meter since it was... More

We had a group of 6 for dinner and enjoyed our meal. The service was a little slow but very pleasant. Best items on the menu were the garlic bread, really good, and the gelato. The pasta dishes were on the bland side, nothing memorable.

Our food at Guido's was excellent; the best lasagna I have ever had outside Italy! The waiter was helpful with suggestions for our grandson. Service was a bit slow when we were there, but I certainly would return.

We heard this was a nice Italian restaurant. When we entered there was a deli on the right and a lot of items for sale in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated near the bar and given menus. That was it. No one ever came back to take a drink order as several workers were busy standing together... More

First off from my limited experience the food here seems to be a good interpretation of rustic Italian fare. Unfortunately it is let down by an inexperienced wait staff. The faults were minor but plentiful I.e. my wife was never offered a refill after her drink was empty, they failed to mention my main course did not come without any... More
