I just LOVE this place! It's fun. It's centrally located in Durango. It's affordable. It's Yummy! And I love the fun drinks and personalities! Who needs the Old West, we have The Belle!

The atmosphere and the entertainment are as good as it gets for a Western Saloon of the 1890's. The food and service is not up to the same standard. When its time to dine go the the Clock Bar or the Mahogany Grill at this Strater Hotel complex.

The Diamond Belle is a blast from the cowboy past. The entire place is decorated to the hilt as it was in the 1800's. Even the waitstaff is dressed for the times. Live music most nights. Usually only there for drinks but they offer a pretty tasty menu for lunch and dinner. Great fun especially if your from out of... More

I stopped for lunch at the Diamond Belle with my seven year old daughter more for the atmosphere than the food. But wow -- were we bowled over with the meal! We ordered a 8 ounce flat iron steak to share and it was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked -- and the rosemary-based seasoning was to die for! My daughter... More

We always try to stop here when we are in Durango. Love the atmosphere and it's especially fun when there is live music.

The Diamond Bell Saloon – is a great step back in time, it’s rustic, its wooden panels and pianolas, it’s westerns, cowboys and corsets. We met friends here for lunch as we had all read the reviews and wanted to visit. However on our visit – there was no live music and the atmosphere just didn’t live up to our... More

The Diamond Belle offers a step back in time in it's old west atmosphere, but that it is not it's strength. It has a warmth and charm that make everyone feel welcome. And although in the heart of the tourist downtown it is likely to be filled with as many locals as visitors. This is not a ports bar with... More

The bar tender and waitresses dress the part at this old style hotel saloon. We took our 16 month old with us and we all had a fabulous time! The live music and excellent food coupled with the friendly staff made this a favorite place for us along with memories to last a lifetime.

Old bar, very ornate in period style. Nice live entertainment, simple comfort food. Good service. Reasonable price.

The Diamond Belle is the "Grand Old Lady" of Durango inside the famous Strater Hotel with a storied history and she hasn't missed a beat in the 20 plus years since my last visit. This is an authentic old west saloon and the waitresses dressed as old time "flappers" like the good old wild west days. Even better the food... More
