Go for the live music!

Food was good, but the highlight was definitely the piano player and costumed staff environment. We've been to several places like this in places like Keyston and Deadwood, this was by far the most family friendly.

We arrived around 5pm and took a seat at the bar. Super friendly bartender who advised us to grab a dinner table soon because the place fills up quickly when the piano player starts. We decided to go upstairs which was a bit quieter, but still a good view of the piano playing downstairs. Our dinner was actually very very... More

Fun, historical decor and costumes with live piano music. The room was very crowded and noisy but that was part of its unique atmosphere. My husband's Cowboy[?] Burger was disappointing because the barbecue sauce tasted like ketchup but I think most people would enjoy the place!

Housed inside the Strater Hotel, this is a place right out of the old west....down to the outfits worn by the staff. There is ragtime piano music and a gunfight show..which was entertaining! I had the Chicken Pot Pie which was delicious!! Fun place....definitely worth a try!!

My wife and I had dinner at The Diamond Belle Saloon this evening, our last evening in Durango. We arrived about 5:30, were seated promptly (restaurant does not take reservations), and left around 8 -- a very nice leisurely meal that ensured we could enjoy the entertainment as well as our food. First the entertainment: You have the saloon atmosphere... More

OK the costumes are hokey but the food and drinks were great. The live music in the middle of the day was quite enjoyable. The staff really loves the place and enjoys sharing the history.

The old west charm doesn't have the schmaltzy feeling we expected and the piano player was terrific, playing many old standards with his own lively interpretation. We never anticipated such a professional, delightful performance. This was a lot of fun, nice variety of bar items but small dinner menu. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, especially when having... More

Want to step back I time?...The Diamond Belle Saloon takes you back the minute you step through the door. The décor, including fancy dressed saloon girls, is totally authentic; and the piano player keeps everyone in great spirits. Highly recommended.

Walk back in time to the old west saloon days. Gals are dressed in period costumes, yes men, a little skimpy, but fun. Had dinner with my grand kids who loved the piano music. Bison burger and hamburgers were good, but french dip terrible, did not have to pay for it.Charged extra for salad so be prepared. Sorry we missed... More
