A must see in Durango...the name says it all - the "waitresses" are fun, the piano music is really good and the food was also very good. Just a real fun way to spend a dinner with friends!

This is always a fun place to go where you will find both tourists and locals. There is always good food, a well stocked bar, and waitresses dressed in feathers, garters, and saloon - type garb! A piano player is often the center of entertainment, and boy, can he play that sucker! During tourist season, you may even come across... More

We were on a GoAhead tour of the National Parks when we stopped for two hours to grab lunch in Durango, CO. We walked around for awhile to enjoy the flavor of this western town when we heard what sounded like Willy Nelson singing at the Diamond Belle Saloon in the Strater Hotel. We decided to go in for brunch... More

Going here was like stepping into the past. The place was like it was in the 1880ies. The waitress's were all dressed in costumes that you see in the movies. The adult beverages were spot on; I had a great Manhattan with locally made whisky. The Buffalo burger was wonderful and the Garlic-cheese fries were very good. Mary had a... More

Came here to eat since we wanted the experience of the old west. We were told we had a 1/2 hr. wait and to come back then. Came back and checked in and found out many others were seated ahead of us since we weren't there. Well had I known that we would have just waited. They need a better... More

The Diamond Belle joins on to the Slater hotel (which is well worth going into just to view the interior). The barmen are dressed like old time barkeeps and there are serving girls wearing feathers and old time western cloths. When we were there a five piece country & western band were playing, they usually have live music every night.... More

The food is in third place for this venue. It's tasty and well presented but that's not why you visit this place. First up is the atmosphere. It looks like an upmarket wild west bar complete with the second reason for visiting.... the brilliant resident pianist. He played a different tune for at least 2 1/2 hours including requests from... This is always our "go to" place. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the entertainment is superb. They have THE BEST Bloody Mary's. We love this place.

Stopped for a night cap and desert. Hostesses dressed in costumes of the era of the Wild West Saloons. Piano man plays a large repertoire of requested songs.

This is nice to experience in Durango. The restaurant/saloon and attached historic hotel are interesting to see. Our dinner food was OK and the service pretty good. Go mostly for the atmosphere
