Went here for lunch, the lunch menu is served tip 3. It is a fun "themed" spot. The food was great, we had a salad, the thai chicken wraps and the pam fries. Everything was extremely good and way better than I had expected. Decor is great and gives you the old time feeling. Staff was friendly and service was... More

I think other than the burger, the best part is the atmosphere of this historic building! Read about the history of this and the Strater Hotel next door - a Louis L'Amour summer hangout.

We have been to the Diamond Belle many times over the years and the food and service have always been hit-or-miss. This most recent visit was better than most. The service was excellent with a friendly waitress in 1800s Saloon Girl attire. We actually received our food in a timely manner. I had a house salad and it was excellent.... More

The wait staff all dress as they did in the 1880's or so, and they have live ragtime music on the piano. I had the homemade chicken pot pie, sounds boring? LOL, not if you eat there - it was awesome !

We were just passing through Durango on our way home after vacationing in Colorado The Strater Hotel caught our eye as we were stretching our legs so we went into the Saloon for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who willingly agreed to let us take her picture in her "Miss Kitty" outfit. The service was excellent,... More

We started off on a real positive and ended up with a few negatives. We were passing through Durango, CO and went to the Hotel Strater. What a real nice place. Well worth a visit, even if it's just for a drink. The Diamond Belle Saloon is out front. Red velvet drapes and red and gold carpet cover the floor.... More

We wanted to go to the Diamond Belle Saloon and see the gun fight, so we slid in at the end of happy hour (around 6 pm). People were leaving as the cheap booze dried up. No tables were free at that time, but we were told we were the first on the waiting list. After soaking up the lobby... More

Dinner here was fun and delicious. The Diamond Belle feels like what you might guess and old west saloon would be complete with velvet wallpaper and a honky tonk piano. We enjoyed ragtime music during our meal that was well performed. We had a burger that was vegetarian thanks to the quinoa patty. It was tasty and it was nice... More

A great place to go for dinner or a drink. Fun experience with live music and friendly atmosphere. When you leave you'll feel you have made friends with many people and had many good laughs as well. Fun!
