This is a place where the locals go... Walk up style and they serve beer and margaritas. There was a line the whole time we were there, but service is fast and friendly. Very affordable and good food.

We were told this was a "step above" Chipotle! The food was excellent! Well worth the wait! They were very busy, and we had to wait about 30 minutes....but the food was fresh, tasty and affordable! I had the carne asada salad and my husband had a chicken burrito! Too bad they are not in Southern California!

We LOVED Zia Tacqueria. The food was fresh and sooo delicous! Everyone in my family enjoyed their choices, and I have never had a better fish taco.

I don't understand the stellar reviews - it's Chipotle/Qdoba with local ownership/management. Much of the food is locally sourced (a plus) but the flavor was nothing unique or improved. It's certainly popular, with a line out the door and a push through the fillings and sauces. High quality fast food perhaps, but not a local treasure.

We were visiting a friend, he said the place was great and he was right! Fresh, fast, and delicious. Plus the price was right!

When you eat here chances are you get more than you pay for. The selection is expansive, with endless possibilities. You are able to choose exactly what you want, and it is made right in front of you. With how popular this place is you always get fresh food because there is no chance for anything to sit for even... This little Mexican food place is an excellent value. The food is very fresh and prepared from scratch before your very eyes which is entertaining as well. Try the Super Taco. The crunchy comes with a soft inner shell which is delicious. Any of their menu items will provide you with enough for two small meals or one large one.... More

You can get a rice bowl or a salad bowl with the same "build your own" options as the giant burrito. I did the Baja style fish tacos - way yummy with mango salsa. Very popular place for good reason

I love little restaurants and eateries that support the local farmers and Zia did not dissapoint. The burritos were delicious and the ingredients were very fresh. Many people likened it to chipotle, which is true but it's even better and much cheaper. They also have the option of refried beans. We need more places like this around the country!

June 5, 2014 ......After a long day of exploring Mesa Verde Nat'l Park, we decided to stop in at the location on the south side of Durango. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady. We moved down the "assembly" line telling the guy what various items we wanted on our burrito. It is great to be able to... More
