I was in town to eat Mexican food, but got an invitation to meet family at this Irish Pub. The draft Guinness Stout was as good as I have ever had. I was told their kegs come for Ireland and not brewed in the US. The fish n chips were, again, the best I ever had anywhere, US, GB or... More

While having an Irish beer, try the fish and chips. Two huge pieces of cod that could feed two people (but you can get a half order).

Authentic Irish Pub in Durango. The food is amazing. Mum's pot roast sure beats my mom's! Very large portions. Plan on taking dinner home. Service can be a bit on the slow side, but the food is worth the wait!

We stopped here cruising through Durango and the kids meals were generous both kids loved that they got ice cream after they finished their meals. My husband and I thought the fish and chips was generous size, we could have actually split a plate for lunch. It was a Monday lunch and it was a boatload of yummy food. We... More

We were looking for a pub style place for good food and beer. The atmosphere is very laid back. We ended up setting at the bar and the bartender was actually Irish. She could tell you about all the beers and recommended two for us that were perfect to our tastes. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer and... More

Very pleasant surroundings. Warm and cozy! Great appetizers at fair prices. The burger was delicious. Excellent attentive servers. I'll go back when I am in town again.

Arrived late into Durango and were unsure where to eat that night. Durango is not a huge place, but it has masses of character and several options for restaurants. It was the cottage pie that did it - I just fancied some British food as opposed to the American food we'd had for several days and so we gave it... More

The Irish Embassy is located in the heart of Durango's downtown. From the outside it is impossible to know of what waits inside. The bar is set up just like you would find in Ireland. Decent prices and a god selection of food and drink await the weary shopper.

I think our server forgot about us for a bit, but the food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We were seated quickly and really liked the feel of the place.

If you're in Durango and hungry for fish and chips, then this is the place. The make it two ways, lightly breaded or beer battered and I can't tell you which one is better. When we go I get some of each though my wife says batter is better. It's a pretty fair representation of an English (Irish) pub, at... More
