What a find!

Great sandwiches...from a GAS STATION! This little deli is on the side of an Exxon station heading out of town!! It absolutely stamps all over all the other sandwich places in Durango. If you're heading to Mesa Verde or any other park, pull in load up and away you go. A great surprise.

We have a quick lunch quite often at Bart's. I always get their Reuben because it is the absolute best in Durango. Having lived in New York for a lot of years, this is the closest I have come to a decent Reuben. They have a varied menu as well and daily specials. They are quick and friendly and reaonably... Went through the drive-through. The menu lists a special sandwich for each weekday. I happened to pull through on a Tuesday. The outdoor menu list said these sandwiches were $7.00 each and came with chips, a pickle and lettuce and tomato with a 16 ounce drink. I ordered two sandwiches. When she rang me up at $18.65, I questioned the... More

Could not believe that I could get such killer sandwiches and burgers from a little deli in a gas station!

Family of four for lunch (children 12 and 10). Small but customizable menu. Bart made my youngest exactly what she wanted for a sandwich even though all the options weren't listed on the menu. The gyro was one of the best I've had. Don't let the gas station location keep you away from this one.

I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have the reuben. Of course I do that anyplace that serves a good one. This one has hot mustard on it too so if that's not the norm for you they will not put it on if you ask. I'd skip the fries and get chips unless you like frozen Ore Ida fries. Nothing fancy but... More

Not in a luxurious place - but the food is worth going for. Bart loves what he does and it shows. Great place to go for lunch!

If you're in the mood for a gryo, head out to Bart's in the gas station across from Wal-Mart. No ambiance or table service. Pick up a couple and take em to the park!

Barts' is a classic N.Y. style deli that I would reccomend to anyone. It's open mainly for breakfast, lunch and catering. Awesome sandwiches, pastries, maceroni salad etc. The gyro is WAY better than any other in town. Bart himself frequently cooks here with the helf of his family. It is a counter servise deli, the people are very friendly there.
