Eolus is a tad expensive but not for Durango standards..food and service is exceptional. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable food is outstanding
We loved this restaurant! The scallop appetizer was out of this world; the grouper, the steak, everything that our group ordered was absolutely delicious! We ate on the rooftop which was really fun. Everyone wants to return to this restaurant and the staff was friendly and really efficient. We will definitely be back!
This was our second time here. Filet is consistently the best I've ever had it beats all the steakhouses in Denver and NYC. Great service - thank you Ron! Don't miss dessert.
Eolus is a silly name, but the food is the best in Durango. From appetizers to dessert you can't lose. I've been living in Durango for eight years and the best meal I've had here in all this time was here.
We had a light dinner here – mushroom soup, caesar salad and sushi roll. The soup was quite good – different than the usually very creamy soup but very flavorful. Had I been hungrier, I would have liked to taste one of the entrees. Overall, a pleasant experience and we’d probably return when in Durango.
This is my favorite restaurant in Durango. Options and meals are always amazing, and the staff is friendly. It's a bit more that I can afford on a regular basis, but worth it when we want to splurge on a great meal. The happy hour specials are also great on the days I can get off work early enough!
My husband and I both ordered the hanger steak and found it delightfully tender and cooked perfectly to order (medium rare), served with a tasty sauce. This is a first-rate restaurant: food, atmosphere and service are excellent. It's convenient to the old hotels as well.
We go to Eolus about once a week and have never had a bad meal or experience. Happy hour has great pizza and half-priced sushi. The roof is lovely during the summer. During ski season, get a reservation. Would be nice if they had a Sunday brunch.
Went to Eolus for happy hour and really enjoyed it. Sushi was fantastic. Calamari was good. Pizza was good, too. Atmosphere was quiet. Wait staff was very attentive. All in all, a good experience.
We had dinner here on 9/25. We had an amazing waiter, a young man named Trevor. The food and wine were excellent, but the evening was enhanced by sunset on the rooftop patio, and Trevor's outstanding service. Oh yes, you should get the Lobster corn dogs.
