No point in discussing the food. The service was so lame it ruined the whole experience. Ordered wine-never came. When I finally asked about it since our waiter was no where in site they brought it but the meal was finished. Our waiter never once checked in to see how we were doing. He seemed way more interested in another... More

We enjoyed a very leisurely and romantic dinner on September 4, 2014. We started with a beautiful sparkler from Limoux, enjoying this with the deep-fried goat-cheese filled squash flower appetizer special that we split. The seafood stew was chock full of lobster, calamari, squid, salmon and a terrific scallop in a tomato cream sauce. It was tremendous. The sommelier recommended... More

My husband and I were recently in this restaurant in Durango. We had a lovely wild salmon dinner. We also had the fiore de zucca and a pretty darn good margarita. The service was outstanding. There was an art show and a guitarist which made for a very nice evening. We sat outside and the weather was perfection.

We just had an outstanding meal at Eolus. They are more than willing to accommodate food allergies, and the gluten free options are amazing. Our server, Jenna helped make our evening special. My g free husband often gets short shrift when we eat out, but he had a fabulous experience. The staff is so friendly and upbeat that you can't... More

We were in Durango with friend recently and they took us to Eolus for dinner. Being from Southern California we're used to excellent cuisine and wine. This was amazing. James the manager and wine sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable, suggesting a variety of wines based on our described preferences. Natalie was our waitress; what a delightful person. The food was very... More

We ate on the lovely rooftop patio at Eolus, had very nice service and a fun meal. Great salads, ok "sushi" but not at all like the real thing. Very, very good vegetarian options that are healthy, too. Nice wines by the glass. The pork was good, but really that mac and cheese was so unnecessary. The squash blossom is... More

We visited Eolus on a friends recommendation, and were looking forward to a nice meal; the place was not too crowded, some empty tables, but without a reservation we would have a 15 minute wait so we opted to eat at the bar. We were about a third of the way through our meal when the group of people next... More

Durango dining at its best can be experienced at Eolus. Eating on the rooftop elevated our experience, literally and figuratively. The downstairs is just a bit dark, when this other option is available. The wait staff has been superbly trained. I ordered the Vegetable Plate and enjoyed flavorful beets, mushroom quinoa, and other fresh offerings. My husband ordered the steak,... More

Absolutely fantastic ambiance and a lovely meal. Plating was gorgeous for my filet and probably one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had! Portion size was perfect too. Well done! Go local!
