Arrived here about 7.30pm and the place was heaving. A really good bluegrass band playing near the entrance too. Got our names on the seating list, grabbed a place at the bar and tried one of their in-house brews apiece. The raspberry wheat beer was delicious - fruity and dry and the IPAs various (of which we tried not a... More

We visited for lunch. We both LOVED our choice.. crunchy Thai salad with the salmon and Portabello panini. Great service too!

What I always thought of as the best in Durango, Carvers, showed us little on this annual visit. Service...surly...that "Millennial Don 't Give a &$%$ attitude. Food...getting up there in price and certainly not as tasty as before Beer...$7.50 for a 10 Oz. beer doesn't do it for me Breakfast...crummy table. No one cared. They put us in a 2... More

Thank you so much for caring enough to give us some honest feedback. I know we have taken good care of you in the past and I could hear the disappointment in your review of this last experience. I'm also disappointed and I apologize we let you down. Reading our guests needs and making sure they feel at home is... More

So much was said about how good the Navajo Tacos are, I "had" to try them. I don't know what I expected, but they were not that special to my husband or me. The wait staff was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. The food I saw being served to others looked really good so maybe we just ordered... More

Couldn't get over that a company that did a good job with their brewing also had such an exciting menu, well made food and attentive, friendly service. They were busy and yet everything worked well. The staff had a good time with each other as well as with the patrons. Above all our clan had a fabulous time at the... More

We had lunch here after I saw their menu on line. Lots of vegetarian options and some very good salad options. We ordered the vegetarian chili, which was excellent. I also ordered the Senegal salad, which was delicious with oranges and avocados and other wonderful things. My husband ordered the mahi tuna steak sandwich, which was very good. We had... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Durango. Had the Reuben & the portobello sandwich, both were delicious & came with homemade oven fries. The beer was good, also had a homemade root beer, which had great flavor, but was flat, no carbonation, maybe the first one of the day from the tap. Our server was very friendly & efficient. Great... We have eaten here several times. The service is friendly and fast. The food is consistently above average. We usually have burgers - buffalo or quinoa. You can even get cottage cheese as a choice instead of the usual french fries.

Very very good food and service. We ate here twice and loved it both times. Try anything with the passillo peppers. I especially liked the quesedilla. Endless cups of very good coffee.

Unlike most breweries, I found the food at Carver to be really upscale restaurant quality. The beer was okay...nothing special. So, go here for the food and you will be pleased. If you are just in it for the beer, there are other options.
