It was a busy Saturday evening, and it seemed that every place on downtown Durango's main drag was full of people and wait lists. Carver was no exception. While waiting, we were able to take advantage of one of the three small metal pub tables outside. Our beers were cold and refreshing, and we conversed with the other people waiting.... More

We stopped here for lunch. Dont let the street appearance fool you. . . There is a nice patio in the back. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. I had a buffalo burger. It was excellent.

This place was recommended by one of the staff at Soaring Tree Top Adventures. Their beer is excellent; I had the Raspberry Wheat ale and my husband had the Old Oak amber ale. Very refreshing after a day soaring! The food was excellent! My husband ordered the beef tips - they were tender and flavorful. I had the quinoa burger.... More

Dinner stop, first night in Durango. Wanted to sample one of the many brewpubs in Durango. My experience has been that when there are several brewpubs in a small town it means two things, 1) there's an appetite for beer locally and 2) brewers practice their craft with a certain amount of pride because they know their beers will be... Dining companion and I both enjoyed salads, which were fresh, interesting, and quite large enough to be filling.

Went here with extended family (8 of us). We sat in the back bar room almost by ourselves. Great atmosphere, perfect place to come with family to talk and laugh. The food was really good, particularly their baked potato fries and the homemade root beer. The service was friendly (and funny!) and we didn't have to ask for anything. After... More

Service was good, beer tasty (they do charge for samples, which was not expected) and the food was good. It is a popular, lively place with outdoor seating in front and back. I would recommend this restaurant.

My family and I stopped by here at the end of our vacation as we were on our way out of town. It had been recommended by a local. We had 11 people spread out over 2 joining tables. Alex was our waiter and he was wonderful! Very attentive and patient with the kids and getting different size t-shirts for... More

This place has great dinner and breakfast. If you go for breakfast, please get a razzmosa. Hands down the best brunch drink EVER. WOW. Our waiter accidentally rang in the wrong order for my dinner but apologized profusely and bought me a beer on the house. Definitely will stop again next time I'm in Durango. An Absolute MUST while in... More

This was the first place recommended by a friend who used to live in Durango and we can understand why. Great food, great service and when you have 2 grandchildren in tow (ages 5 & 8) the rope swings in the patio area were a BIG HIT! The prices were a pleasant surprise also for a tourist town. Try it... More
