Went here twice for breakfast on our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Durango. The food and atmosphere was amazing! It is a don't miss cafe!

We went here twice for breakfast on vacation. They have large portions and homemade food. The pancakes are the size of the plate. They are always busy so not sure the best time to go and it's a very small place. The pies were on display in a glass container and it made me want to stay for lunch because... More

We asked some locals where the best plans to eat breakfast in Durango, and all three said without hesitation "OSCARS!" They warned us that it would be packed and we would have to stand in line, but it was worth it. Thick slab of ham steak, best hash browns (crispy and tender), and good coffee. If you want a good... I read about this on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. They have delicious french toast. It's seems to be a local favorite.

The staff was kinda but very slow on coffee refills. Pancakes were served without syrup so I asked for some. Not a big deal until I kept waiting and waiting. Finally I got it myself. Food was quite good. Better than average. Restaurant is very cramped and staff is mediocre. I'll go again but I won't rush back.

Be patient. This place is tiny, and popular. Service is good, food is great!! Loved the French toast, one pancake is enough. Cinnamon rolls are HUGE.

We arrived before 8am on a Sunday and the place was packed. People were good about not lingering too long at their table because they knew others were waiting. Our timing was good; we waited less than 5 minutes. For being in a nondescript shopping strip, the interior was a delightful riot of vintage items, a working model train, and... More

Great biscuits and gravy and my wife's blueberry pancakes were done just right. They are very quick to refill your coffee cup too. Only complaint is that it is a bit crowded with tight seating and not a lot of room. Worth a visit though!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning. The place is small and was full. I am guessing that on the weekends that there will be wait list. That said, it is definitely worth visiting. The menu offers a good variety of breakfast items. The four of us opted for a variety of dishes. Here is the breakdown: Mex Brex... More

Food was tasty, but coffee was weak and bland. Service was decent. If this place expands and upgrades it's coffee, it will rate 5.
