Fantastic!!

We were told that we would enjoy our meal, and that was an under statement. The food here is simple and tastes Fantastic. The Pulled pork sandwich is great, and so was the Texas Taco.

Although not in Texas, the owners of this place have taken no short cuts in their preparation of beef brisket, pulled pork, sides and desserts in the best Texas tradition. I was pleasantly surprised when I recently ate there. The brisket was full of flavor, juicy, tender, and among the best I've ever had. My companion had the pulled pork... More

The best pulled pork sandwhich, the best sweet tea, and the staff were very friendly and very helpful on what was and wasn't spicy. Highly recommend that you go here for lunch or dinner.

Went for lunch sat on the patio. I was blown away with the brisket sandwich. It was perfectly cooked and honestly you can't beat the price. $8 for a huge sandwich! Can't wait to go back

This is a tough review because the locations are very well set up and the staff is personable and accommodating. I always find the BBQ dry and that bugs me. I always remedy that by asking them for the brisket fat side down. Always ask for new meat and not stuff that has been sitting as it will be dry.

Stopped here as it is convenient to highway, but 1/4 pound pulled pork had globs of fat, which surprised us since it was only a small cup with 1/4 of cup not edible! Cheesey potatoes from steam table casserole pan were mushy served in cup also. Ambience/atmosphere is fun and authentic but food is pricey; served fast because it is... More

Food was delish, beer was cold and prices were great. What more could you ask for? We had rack of ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw & their Texas taco, no one was disappointed!

Looking for some great bbq in Durango then Serious Texas BBQ is the only place to go. Everything is so yummy. Employees are always friendly and welcoming. My favorite is the Texas Taco.

We were passing through and decided to try Serious Texas Bar-B-Que and we were not disappointed. Good food and friendly people. We would stop there again if we should come through Durango again.
