I am not particularly fond of Bar-B-Q meat since I've rarely been impressed by it. However, the food at Serious Texas Barbeque was fantastic. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. In addition, we ordered the apple cobbler with ice cream. Yum yum yum to all of it. My brisket was done to... More

Let me start by saying that we are from Central Texas (Austin area) and are very picky about bar-b-que. We had seen the restaurant along the main road leading out of Durango towards Silverton, but weren't really interested in it until a couple of locals gave us stellar recommendations. We really enjoyed the atmopsphere of the restaurant, the beautiful landscaping,... More

We arrived around 8 on a Thursday, all main restaurants we tried had 1 hour wait, hotel suggested this place, they close at 9 but since it is counter service it is very fast. The BBQ was very good, cheap and cheerful place, nothing fancy at all but perfect for fast, tasty food after a long days drive.

We were staying in a near by motel and just walked up the street to it and were very pleased. We had the pulled pork taco and a sausage taco with cole slaw and cheesy potatoes. It is not a sit down and order place but the food is really good. If you stay at the Siesta Motel they will... More

Met my brother in Durango, Colorado to discuss a fishing trip. He previously had eaten at the Seriously Texas BBQ. One walks in and turns to the left to order. The menu is over head and contains the items most of BBQ restaurants I had the pulled pork sandwich and sweet tea. There is a patio that overlooks the river... More

I love barbeque, but don't like all the bread that comes with a sandwich, so my husband and I both opted for the 1/4# of pulled pork with a side. I chose the potato salad, which wasn't bad, but the pulled pork was fantastic. The smoky flavor was perfection. I have to agree with one of the most recent reviewers... More

I've ate bbq all over this country and this was just average in my opinion. My wife and I both had ribs.and they just seemed on the dry side to us to us compared to what we've had at other places. The sides were just so so also. I would eat there againg if I was with friends and they... More

Great ribs, very good brisket sandwich with a smokey flavor. The served it so you could add as much or as little barbeque sauce and you wanted. Colesaw was unique with a little Chipotle kick.

Considering myself a pretty good judge of BBQ, I was intrigued by the name alone. My daughter had eaten here before on another trip to Durango and assured my wife and I the food was really good. She was right!! In fact, we liked it so much that after dining there one time, we went back another and got food... More

Who would think that a little place in Colorado could channel inner BBQ heaven from a giant such as Texas? Not this guy, or maybe you either but you would be sorely mistaken. This meal was SPECTACULAR!!!! My god, between the pulled pork, the cheesy potatoes, and ribs, I had to waddle my fat behind outta there since I ate... More
