Convenient, average small town cafe

This cafe is on the main road through town, easy off and easy on. The food and service were good, but nothing special about it except the old flyfising apparatus on the wall.

The place is swarming with flies. The wait staff is a bit sullen and obviously over worked. The CFS was hard and chewy and the hash browns came out of a bag, the gravy from a mix. The cook does not know that refried beans go with enchiladas, but served some kind of weird kidney bean creation. The Spanish Rice... More

This place is soo run into the ground! They brought me a DIRTY high chair for my baby! The waitress had no idea what she was doing! The hostess dumped a tray of drinks! The owners were there but they didn't offer a helping hand to the poor waitress! Food wasn't great the salad bar was old! WILL NOT BE... More

Grade of D+, at least we didn't get sick. We visited about 10:30-11:00AM on a weekday. Sorry, too late for breakfast.OK, then, lunch. Although we were only one of two tables occupied, service was painfully slow. Servers acted like they would like to do about anything other than wait on you. Omelets with "home fries (if your home is a... More

When they got the food... More

We went here for breakfast on the way out of Dolores. The restaurant had a lot of employees working with not that many guests though and many of them were sitting around talking about their lives and personal problems.... which we didn't necessarily want to hear about. A couple of flies wandered in as well while we were eating.... but... More

Your typical small town diner. I love the hashbrowns smothered in green chili and cheese Yum sometimes add an over easy egg.

Full breakfast, lunch and dinner long time local family restaurant with full menu. A favorite of many of the local residents. Really great pancakes and fresh breakfast rolls for those with a sweet tooth. Good service and pleasant setting for quick snack or full meal..

A decent place for lunch and a chance for a real salad bar. The food is not great, but it is tasty and served promptly in large helpings. You can tell by the cars (and trucks) out front that Ponderosa is the preferred destination in Dolores. Try chicken fried steak and whatever the soup-of-the-day is.

Terrible greasy commercial food. Thought that the restaurant looked local and good, boy was I wrong. This is the kind of place that the cook is smoking cig while he's working. Local farmers hang out.
