Description: Pug Ryan's opened in 1975 making it the oldest steak house in Dillon. Travis and Annie Holton bought Pugs in 1986 and have owned and operated since. The brewery started in 1996 and poured its first beer February 1st 1997. In May 2012 the Pugs expansion was completed. Additional brewery space and equipment were added with a new deck, bathrooms, entrance and remodeled side dining room. Pug Ryan's lakeside Tiki Bar at the Lake Dillon Marina is open seasonally during the warm months of the summer. With the best view in Summit County on its deck and the light lake breeze to keep you cool while sipping on your Rumrunner, it's easy to see why the Tike Bar has drawn travelers from all over the world and has been enjoyed by locals for years.Pug Ryan's has a family feel with its staff. With a majority of the staff being long time friends you will see soon why it's hard to leave.

The placed was packed on a Saturday night, but we were seated after a short wait.Four of us went here for Dinner and everyone thought their meal was very good. The staff was all very friendly and made it a fun dining experience. Thier beers were also very tasty. The prices were a little on the high side, but the... More

My wife had the bacon wrapped filet and I ordered the pasta special. The house beer was awesome I had the hideout helles. The steak had a good smoked flavor to it and was cooked medium as per ordered. I had the pasta which was bay scallops red roasted peppers with a cream pesto sauce. It was pretty good. I... More

Visited Dillon during a quiet time of year. The Best Western Hotel doesn't have a restaurant and they recommended Pug Ryan's. We had a good meal there and it's a micro brewery so we brought back a beer glass as a souvenir. Pleasant atmosphere and good service.

We live in Colorado and ski at Copper - whenever we spend the night in Dillon we always dine here. We've always had great meals, everything from the side salad to prime rib is excellent! Great mountain/rustic atmosphere and fun servers.

In visiting Pug's regularly for over six years, I can attest to the fact that their "Over The Rail" PALE ALE is one of the best I have ever tasted, and enjoyed! The food is always good; and Pug's is always a treat!

Extremely disappointed in entire experience. I had the most pathetic piece of sea bass I have ever seen. The piece was the size of a baby trout and filled with bones. It was too thin to even remove the bones without wasting the entire piece. My friend had a $32 steak that was chewy and bad quality. The waitress was... More

The only restaurant in the area named after a thief and a murderer. This is really two types of restaurants in one. In the bar you can get great appetizers and burgers and sit inside or outside on their new larger deck. Or you can eat in the formal restaurant where fine steaks and other great entrees are on the... Food was average. Service was below average. Burgers are great, big and juicy. The apps are greasy and below average. The service is problematic and spotty. Our waiter didn't bring napkins or utensils until asked. The table was sticky and dirty. We had to ask for the staff to wipe it down. The bartender was rude. My drink tasted bad,... More

had buffalo burgers, steak and steak salad. All of the food was very good. We had to wait a long time for our food but server was friendly. All in all, would recommend the restaurant highly.

We went into Pug Ryan's with a group of 15, including five kids. The staff was great at seating us and in serving our group lunch. I recommend the burgers and the Scottish Ale. I also recommend the patio with its great views of Lake Dillon. Prices are below average for the area.
