Great Meal in the Open Air

While visiting friends in Keystone, we attended the excellent Saturday morning Farmer's market and Art Show in Dillon. We then walked down to the Arapahoe Cafe just above the shore of Lake Dillon to have lunch. since we wanted to eat outside in the beautiful mountain air, we had to wait about 10-15... read more

Service was a little slow but everything else was exceptonal. Food was delicious, atmosphere was quaint and small town, value for money was A1. Absolutely no reluctance to refer the casual traveller to this hidden gem. When the hotel (Ptarmigan Inn) recommended I was a little concerned but the food, value quality ad ambiance sold me!

We had an early (7:00) breakfast here. They have a large indoor eating area, and another large outdoor eating area. The service was great, the waiter was friendly and attentive, and food was delicious, and the coffee is some of the best we've ever had. They serve lunch, too, but we weren't able to take advantage of that. It's get... More

We stopped in here for a bite to eat after an afternoon on the reservoir and were certainly not disappointment. We arrived right at 4 (when they reopen for dinner) and grabbed a table outside. The atmosphere on the deck is laid back and relaxing, and sitting on the upper deck (2 steps up) allowed us to enjoy the vista.... More

We visited Arapahoe Café on a Saturday night, and had to wait 30 minutes for a table, which is certainly acceptable. However, it took our party of four more than one hour to receive our dinners. The food is usually good, and we particularly enjoy their breakfasts. The Pub Down Under also offers good daily specials. They also have a... More

We had dinner here a couple weeks ago after reading such good reviews on various sites. It was good as the reviews said. Our server told us he worked there because he has never had a meal sent back because it was poorly prepared...he also got to eat there, which is a real perk! We both had the pulled pork.... More

This quaint restaurant is in a very old building full of local history with a nice pub downstairs. The BBQ and the fish were delicious, as were the brownies for dessert. Check out this unassuming place, you won't be disappointed.

We were just cruising area for late breakfast and stopped Here. It was a delight. Quaint setting, friendly staff and unique breakfast items at reasonable. Price for the area. I had "Janie's French Toast- 6 halves of bread topped with warm raspberries! Husband had regular eggs and bacon and hashbrowns which he said was excellent.

Pub Down Under: small, hometown-type atmosphere. Not beautiful, but cozy and friendly. The pub food is good, the bartenders are friendly. The only reasons we couldn't give five stars after two visits: the kitchen seems slow (very busy) and one waiter seemed to prefer to be elsewhere. The kitchen is an understandable situation - the place is popular. The waiter:... More
