First, the bar is in the basement, which is cool, but once down there, it was shabby,f elt old and cheezy. I did order a burger, rare and it came out cold and rare. I couldn't see where it was cooked at all. And so yucky greasy. Their asiago soup was excellent. The beer was tasty. This place is popular... More

Ate here several years ago during a ski trip and was very unimpressed. Decided to give this place another chance since it was right next to the motel we were staying at and we didn't want to go far. This time we went early, so we didn't have to wait an hour like the last time. Food was good. My... More

Wanted to try everything on the menu. I got the bison burger, my husband got the burger with chili peppers on it and the ribs were amazing!!! We also had breakfast and the salmon spinach omelet was a great hit. Definitely stay away from pricey places to eat at this quaint place by the water.

Love the enchilada stack, and tamales and eggs, good biscuits and gravy too. Fast to refill your coffee, friendly mountain staff. Also open for lunch and dinner. They have a downstairs pub and smoke their own meats.

My son and his 2 friends we're refused cups of water because they weren't "paying customers". We are locals, and the boys forgot to take their water to the park. I stopped by to ask the policy on thirsty children and water. The manager told me that it's their policy to only serve paying customers. I left my card and... More

Recently are here based on other reviews. Restaurant was slammed when got there and was told about 45 mins...completely understand it's a holiday week. Went down to bar which was pretty neat place. After 35 min or so went up to see how much longer and when I asked guy at front he hurriedly looked at list and said "huh... More

We were staying at the Best Western Ptarmigan Lodge on Lake Dillon and decided to walk over to the Arapahoe Cafe for dinner. During our 10 day road trip throughout Colorado, this was probably the most disappointing meal. Just not impressed with the food or service.

I love the Arapahoe Café. If you're lucky enough to get a table in the Pub area you'll enjoy nightly specials. Upstairs in the more formal dining room, you'll enjoy exceptional food and service

We met our friends for breakfast, one Saturday morning, and were quite pleased with the the food, service and how clean the restaurant was. I had the oatmeal and believe it is as good as the kind my grandmother used to make. There were 7 of us so of course we all sampled each others meal as it was the... More
