A night after touring

Brett was our server and he was EXCELLENT!! Very friendly and professional. We started with bloody Mary's--one bacon, one normal. Both were good. We had wine with dinner(red and white). My husband ordered peppercorn streak with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I ordered Mac and cheese... read more

We had just driven from Denver and met friends for lunch. I had BBQ (pulled pork), two had trout salads, one had trout and eggs and the last had a BBQ special that included several items. Everyone loved their meals.

Within walking distance. Good food. Server was great. Place is a little small, but we sat outside at a table under an umbrella. They also have a bar, downstairs. Would recommend!

We stayed in a nearby motel and it was convenient place to eat. The food was good and plentiful. The menu gave plenty of choices. The servers were courteous and attentive. Love all the flowers outside.

We all really enjoyed the BBQ and burgers in this rustic old building. Large meaty ribs with very good sauce were the highlight of the evening. Side dishes were only average but we didn't really mind given the quality of the entrees.

I would have never eaten there had I not read the reviews about that place. it doesn't look too inviting, but the food is really good, and the atmosphere inside cozy. All staff was super nice. I didn't sit outside because of a coming storm, but the patio area looked really nice as well. I had red trout with wild... More

Incredible service. We did not have reservations, but walked up to it. The outdoor patio was charming and it looked like a good place to eat. Wait staff very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty (you need water at that altitude). The meals offer generous proportions - perhaps splitting would be the way to go unless you want to... More

We stumbled across this while waiting for a concert at the Dillon Marina Amphitheater. Had an hour to wait which was good because all the restaurants were very busy with the pre concert crowd. This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, mainly because the service and food were both very good (considering how busy the area was). Our waiter was... More

Siting outside is a must! Great food, great Bloody Mary, and wonderful service! We went for lunch, but arrived while breakfast was being served as well, and it looked delicious. My daughter had the cheese fries with barbecued pork! Delicious. We also had a brisket sandwich and fish and chips...all good! Their spicy barbecue sauce is delicious!

Service was a little slow but everything else was exceptonal. Food was delicious, atmosphere was quaint and small town, value for money was A1. Absolutely no reluctance to refer the casual traveller to this hidden gem. When the hotel (Ptarmigan Inn) recommended I was a little concerned but the food, value quality ad ambiance sold me!
