Takes You Back and It's a Good Thing

A "local" recommended the Arapahoe Cafe to us. My first impression: "Aw, it's so charming ... aren't those flower pots absolutely gorgeous ... look what's in view, beautiful Lake Dillon" (so much like Lake Louise). Great old fashioned breakfast place, obviously one of the first eateries in the area, full of old photos and memorabilia. Menu is simple, mostly egg based dishes. They have an AMAZING hot smoked salmon that they do themselves. Order anything with it, you will not be disappointed

Foos Ball & Pool with great service from the bar and food if you need it from above. Great place to stop after the concert @ the amphitheater.

When we were being seated, I asked for a booth (after 2 back surgeries, chairs are hard to sit in). The hostess said they had booths in the bar area. We usually don't sit in the bar area but the main restaurant looked a little busy so we decided to go ahead and try it. I think we should have... More

This review is based on breakfast only. It's a must. Try the bone-in ham and the egg scramble with house smoked salmon. Ask for a side of red chili. Simply amazing!! Expect a wait unless you can get there early.

Very good breakfast. The hash is fantastic and tamales are even better. If the weather is nice sit outside. The waitress was kind of mean, but in that way that makes you like her more, almost like a truck stop waitress, professional but not super personable.

We have eaten at Arapahoe cafe many times before, mostly for dinner and it has been good, but breakfast is not their strong suit. Nothing special, the food is lacking flavor, my veggie Benedict was OK, but it tasted liked packaged holldasaie sauce and very bland. Like something you would get at a chain breakfast place. Service was excellent, but... More

We ate here twice and enjoyed our meal both times. They offer very good food at fair prices. Great service - all the guys have swell personalities and were super engaging. The appetizer nachos topped with chicken can feed two very hungry people and they were very, very good. I ordered mine with the sour cream, salsa and guacamole on... More
