For all the good reviews, I thought this place would be better. We had an average wait, the waitress was pleasant but nothing special, and the food was average. I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was fine but served with nearly flavorless sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Even the quaint decor (which I can find in spades in... More

Not only was it within walking distance from our hotel and one of the original structures from "old Dillon" original town that is under the lake, it served the best artichoke dip hands down! It was so good we went back a second night! Cheeseburgers and service fantastic as well.

We just happened upon this little old treasure in the midst of Dillon Colorado. Wow...were we lucky! I enjoyed a green chilie cheese burger and my husband had a BBQ sandwich. Both were freshly made and more than excellent. Open windows, floor which was a bit crooked and waiters which moved like lightening making sure everyone was happy made this... More

We recently went to Silverthorne/Dillon for a wedding and a vacation. Mostly ate at the condo but had lunch at the Arapahoe one day. It has some character as opposed to the rest of the area which was recently developed to look like Anywhere, USA minus the mountains. We were served quickly, the food was good and the portion was,... The wait staff and hostesses were beyond rude. It made the food and the views irrelevant. They don't have to be polite or even considerate because they are always busy. Will never go back.

A very old restaurant with delicious food. Great service and a great view right in the middle of downtown Dillon. I will keep this on my list of places to eat every time I visit Dillon!

Five adults in our party ate outside and enjoyed the pleasant weather and beautiful views. Aside from the young man that seated us the staff was pleasant, accommodating, and timely. Food was very good (steak, ribs, fish) all well prepared. Dessert, a cobbler and bread pudding, were delightful.

The Arapahoe Cafe & Pub is a quintessential mountain eatery. The restaurant building was moved when the nearby dam was constructed decades ago and contains the knotty wood walls now rarely seen, except in old movies. The food is excellent, the service - despite a waiting line in mid-July - was quick and professional. They were friendly, allowing our group... More

Solid service and food each morning we were there. It was especially nice sitting outside on warmer mornings. Of all the things I had the biscuits and gravy were especially good. Wife enjoyed the granola pancakes and brother-in-law liked Doug's breakfast (oatmeal and fruit, etc.).

If you get a server named Eric, ask to be seated in a different section of the restaurant. This guy needs to find a new job outside the service industry. You could not ask a simple question about the menu without a roll of the eyes or a short, curt response. Everyone around us was served and we were still... More
