The Arapahoe Cafe & Pub is a quintessential mountain eatery. The restaurant building was moved when the nearby dam was constructed decades ago and contains the knotty wood walls now rarely seen, except in old movies. The food is excellent, the service - despite a waiting line in mid-July - was quick and professional. They were friendly, allowing our group... More

Solid service and food each morning we were there. It was especially nice sitting outside on warmer mornings. Of all the things I had the biscuits and gravy were especially good. Wife enjoyed the granola pancakes and brother-in-law liked Doug's breakfast (oatmeal and fruit, etc.).

If you get a server named Eric, ask to be seated in a different section of the restaurant. This guy needs to find a new job outside the service industry. You could not ask a simple question about the menu without a roll of the eyes or a short, curt response. Everyone around us was served and we were still... More

ski breakfast!!!!! hearty food, very tasty, wonderful service. Enjoy this place all four seasons. Little small and often you have a wait...but it's worth it.

Our neighbors had recommended this restaurant--glad they did! I had the Farmer's Market Quesadilla--lots of veggies in it and a great veggie relish alongside and served with guacamole and taco crema. My husband had the smoked buffalo sausage special. Both were delicious! We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth the wait. Attentive,... More

This was such an unusual event, I had to share it. A friend of ours recommended this restaurant highly. We went there together looking forward to getting some take-out to share with our wives. When we walked up to the host station we were told they were too busy to handle take-out. I've not only been to hundreds of restaurants,... More

Great little place just steps from our hotel room. Friendly service but a very long wait for a family table. Next time we will make reservations!

We stopped at the Arapahoe Cafe based on the crowds we saw lined up to eat. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. The breakfast was great and the service was spectacular. A nice, down to earth place for breakfast or lunch.

Very hurt by the poor service to our church group. It started with the observation of others being seated and not on any list. Very confrontational when asked why this is happening.
