Fun, Friendly Spot away from the hustle of Silverthorne

Stopped here for dinner with my wife this evening waiting for the I-70 traffic to die down. Due to the snow, most restaurants in downtown Silverthorne and Dillon were packed - so decided to try something out off the beaten path. Cala was a superb choice for a beer and some bar food. Only my 2nd time to Cala Inn, but it was already a favorite after the first visit. This place is nearly perfect. Great food, friendly service, exceptional view...I just wish it were closer to me!

Fishing with business partner, staying in a walking distance condo. This is a nice little spot. Would love to be called a regular...hey Norm! Taken care of by the new owner, nice gal, works hard. Lots of beer, ale, scotch etc. Pub atmosphere was spot on. Pub "grub" was just perfect. Burger, fish'n-chips, the whole deal. Chips/fries were very good.... More

We always stop here when in Summit County. It's a great local pub, still amazingly off the tourist track when just 2 miles from Keystone. Shepard's pie! Yum!

This is truly a locals bar and a great place to unwind after a long day on the hill!! They have great service, good food (try the fish-n-chips) and a really cool pub like atmosphere!! Check with the staff for event nights (e.g. kareoke, open mic, etc.). Great beer selection too!!!

We've eaten at Cala Inn almost every year for the past 12 years during our annual ski trip. They have a great selection of beer and Scotch. The menu has changed a bit since our last visit adding some nice items including a Scotch Egg that was quite tasty. It's supposed to be bar service, but most of the time... More

Would like to try the food and I will change this post if I go back and get service but right now I don't know how the food is but the service is not anywhere comparable to the rest of the Summit area. We, waited on two women neither of which were interesting in taking our order, maybe because we... More

The Cala Inn has what it takes to make a great experience: Scenic location, very nice people, terrific service, GREAT food, and the courage/confidence that only comes from experience. When I requested the best appetizer, without hesitation our server delivered one of the most wonderful "Cheeses & More" plates (not really a plate, served on a piece of natural slate-nice!)... More

We had been here a couple of years ago and decided to stop by again for appetizers and a beer. We decided we could use a salad so we ordered just the house salad and the chicken satay skewers. I could watch the girl in the kitchen fix our salads and she was cutting everything up fresh, plus the chicken... More
