Best afternoon tea in Denver

Cute, cozy little restaurant. Serve the best lemon curd which the other tea houses in Denver seem to lack. The menu looks really good, but I've only had afternoon tea. Always full when I leave. The tea selection is amazing. Always feel like I've had a spa day when I visit House of Commons. Great... read more

Had afternoon tea at The House of Commons, and it was such a great experience! Made reservations for a party of four on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated right away in corner table, which was nice because it was a little secluded. The waitress was very attentive and brought our tea menu very quick. SO many options if... More

My friends and I stopped in for tea following a yoga class at the studio next door. We were in hurry and opted to take our tea to go, although we would have preferred to stay. They have a very ample selection of teas from all over the world and yummy pastries to go with. I will definitely return!

My daughter and I went to The House of Commons for their Afternoon Tea. I have had tea in lots of different tea rooms, and this one was delightful. We were offered a wide choice of teas, and we could each choose our own. We were served a nice assortment of sandwiches and tea cakes, and the scones with Devonshire... More

My daughter works in the area and made reservations for tea. A cute little place with wonderful tea and food. We had the afternoon tea service and it was very nice and very reasonably priced especially compared to other afternoon teas in the Denver area. Highly recommended! Strongly suggest a reservation!

Definitely need a reservation or you risk a long wait for a table. Nice selection of teas and food, not just the typical afternoon tea fare. Charming decor but not the reason for dining here.

I wanted to go somewhere besides a bar for my bachelorette party and The House of Commons worked wonderfully. They were very understanding of my fluctuating numbers for my reservation and they were able to provide the same wonderful little sandwiches for me gluten free as they provided to everyone else. All of the sandwiches, scones and cakes were quite... More

Outstanding. Loved it. In not much of a tea drinker, but, I swear, I think I am now. I had the raspberry tea and fell in love. I'd go back tomorrow , but I'll be in the area early and they don't open until ten. We had sandwiches that were good, but their tea is the star of the show.... More

Not as fancy and no live music but charming and quaint and just as good for tea scones and sandwiches. Great deserts and nice choice of teas.

The tea and sandwiches were delightful. My only complaint was the desserts on the top. They did have macarons and other pastries in the display case that were much better than the ones given with the tea course. They were so affordable that we just ordered extra ones instead of eating the ones that were offered. By far the most... More
