Wonderful Pasta & Sea Food

We went on a whim and were very impressed. The menu was most interesting and the selection was impressive. Our meals were exceptional, very tasty and delightfully served. This has become a regular dining spot for us.

Nice menu, fun staff, great neighborhood location, great food. Need to split a plate? No problem. Waiter more than happy to oblige.

A.maz.ing. Everything we ordered was superb! Hubs got a perfect steak special. I had lasagna - one of the best I've ever had - everyone sampled and agreed. Kiddo had ravioli. The service was excellent, never had an empty glass. We went early (5ish) in a week night, and it got packed fast. I encourage reservations! (seriously, make reservations and go.)... More

Went here because we had a groupon and it turned our to be a great buy as the food was delicious and plentiful . Small nice patio in front and nice sized dining area inside. Also has an upstairs which is where we sat a little warm but bearable. We started with the fried mozzarella which were the biggest cheese... More

This restuarant was okay. Our waiter was really nice. He was child friendly. He made sure we were good just as a waiter should do. However, the food wasn't the same. The kids spaghetti was not child friendly. The sauce was too sour, and the meatball was very bad. Also, the viccata had a greasy sauce. The oil and cream... More

We had driven past the restaurant for many years but never stopped in. We found our chance last night as we didn't want to venture into busy Cherry Creek so this quiet location was easy to get to and park. Food was perfect for adults looking for fine Italian while the kids had plenty of pasta and pizza to choose... More

I thought i made the best lasagna, but their's was excellent. Lots of beef and sausage baked just right with just a bit of crust on top. And the full sized portion was enough for lunch the next day even for good eaters. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable on a fine wine list. A great little neighborhood find.... More

Dear readers, We always visit our children and grandchild now in Denver and one of the first restaurants we always go to for dinner is Shells and Sauce. The food, service and atmosphere make for a wonderful cozy neighborhood favorite and for those of you who don't live nearby...it is worth the trip!

This is more of a locals place it seemed. But was able to make a reservation on opentables.com Was really busy when we got there but they had a table waiting for us. The food was very fresh and delicious. The portions were also very large as well and the price was not bad either. The only complaint I would... More

We went for brunch and were taken up the back stairs (scary??:-)) to the patio. A wonderful view! The wait wasn't that long even on a busy Sunday. The food was delicious, as was the mimosa. Highly recommended!
