My husband and I ,had chosen Il Posto as a place to try while visiting Denver. We were not disappointed ! Great service and even better authentic italian food. A great night out, many thanks.

Pasta dish was good. Definitely could tell it was homemade. Bread was very good. Get a better beer selection. Adam, our server, was great.

The food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. I can't think of a single thing we didn't like about Il Posto. We can hardly wait to go back to Denver and dine at Il Posto again.

After reading the various reviews for this restaurant, I can't help but think I ate elsewhere. We celebrated Father's Day and were not disappointed. The service was spot on, clearly making an effort to make this a special evening for my father, and the food was delicious. Perhaps one of the better attributes of the restaurant was the care taken... More

My wife and I were staying at a wonderful B & B a couple blocks from this restaurant. We were advised it was a fine Italian restaurant and just a short walking distance. We dressed for a fine night and walked to the restaurant. Once inside, we noticed that it was almost empty of customers. We realized why after just... More

My wife took me to Il Posto for Father's Day. It was our first visit. The wait staff was terrific, very welcoming, cordial, knowledgeable and attentive. The open air, casual atmosphere made us feel relaxed and ready to enjoy a nice meal. Unfortunately the food was uninspiring. We ordered an English cold pea soup that the waiter said was excellent... After arriving in the evening from the Denver airport we were anxious to find a sit-down restaurant within a short walking distance of the Castle Marne B&B where we had just checked in. Our host recommend Il Posto just two blocks away. Our group of four got a sidewalk table and split two of their generous appetizers, before each ordering... More

The four of us went here for a late lunch following a visit to the Denver Botanical Gardens. We were greeted by a friendly host (owner?) and promptly seated. So far, so good. The initial service started giving some indications of what was to come--a bit of indifference and nonchalance. That continued throughout the meal. Lunch for 4 with 5... More

I was not looking for a five star meal. Nevertheless, we unexpectedly found it. My son and I smiled throughout the meal with a personable and gracious owner and the very best wait staff. Our waiter was very knowledgable about Italian wines and paired them with each course superbly. The most memorable meal in a long time.

I'll admit it up front, I'm a big fan of Chef Frizzi's shop, but Il Posto simply does not disappoint. My most recent trip was for a business dinner in early May. The five of us enjoy great cocktails and wine, the tagliere plate. Veal osso buco was on the menu in addition to halibut cheeks and the requisite steak,... More
