Great Italian food, service and atmosphere. Ever changing menu perfect and keeps you coming back. Use of fresh season farm products makes every meal memorable.

Thi place is a lucky find... its not a place to goto for ambience - but the food is delish, and the owner is very friendly and has great recommendations. When we went the place was jam packed, but the owner got chairs and table and made a corner table for us. The food tasted good and was great in... More

Our monthly dinner group decided to check this place out as we all had seen it many times while visiting The Thin Man next door. There ended up only being three of us, thank you snow storm, and we were all disappointed. While the wait staff was attentive and knew their food and wine, it took what felt like forever... More

Imagine your Dad's old garage. You fumble for the chain that clicks on the sole exposed lightbulb and pull. Click. The garage is now lit with strange shadows and everything is steely white and grey, a little cold and unnerving, and you want to complete your business there and get out. This is the unfortunate ambiance, or lack thereof, at... More

I am not hard to please and love food, so if anything I feel like I usually give too nice of reviews. We have so many incredible restaurants with good food and good service in Denver, this is not one of them. --the menu made all the dishes sound good, but the actual food was mid grade, I can do... Not at all what I expected to find on my first visit to Denver. Il Posto reminds me of the kind of small restaurants you treasure discovering in Rome. Unobtrusively located out on 17th Street in City Park West, friendly professional staff provide inventive takes on modern Italian in a surprisingly urban ambience. Menu changes daily. Try whatever sounds good... More

Pasta dish was good. Definitely could tell it was homemade. Bread was very good. Get a better beer selection. Adam, our server, was great.

The food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. I can't think of a single thing we didn't like about Il Posto. We can hardly wait to go back to Denver and dine at Il Posto again.

After reading the various reviews for this restaurant, I can't help but think I ate elsewhere. We celebrated Father's Day and were not disappointed. The service was spot on, clearly making an effort to make this a special evening for my father, and the food was delicious. Perhaps one of the better attributes of the restaurant was the care taken... More
