Great sommelier

This is a very tiny restaurant, but the food is very good although the portions seemed small. The sommelier was very helpful in recommending a white wine.

Went night before Memorial Day, ordered two starters (not bad) and then two mains of pasta, ok but a seriously lack of seasoning. The meat pasta was just standard nothing special. Slightly overrated and not the best Italian restaurant in Denver, due to lack of seasoning I would say this was under par for what i expected,

Food served to us was tasty but would have been much better if served hot. Ours was mostly lukewarm. Portions are relatively small especially for the price. Nice wine list and knowledgable service. Restaurant was packed and very loud - almost too loud to carry on conversation. There are better places for the money in Denver.

A friend & I had a wonderful lunch at Il Posto. I had a chilled avocado soup; she had the stuffed octopus; and we split the padina 'calzone' - all were delicious and beautifully presented. Waiter was very helpful in ensuring we received the light lunch we requested. Desserts other diners ordered looked spectacular. We enjoyed watching the cooks in... More

We each had the four course chef's sampler and the food was AMAZING! We also had some of the best service I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Our waiter was there and attentive when needed.

I went with a friend, and on first glance, and we were kind of disappointed with the space--in that there isn't much at all. You are really close to other diners and their tables. A waiter almost spilled my wine on me twice just trying to lean over to talk to people at one of his tables. But, on second... More

Our waiter was outstanding with pairing the Italian wine with our food! Risotto with mozzarella and ramps perfectly cooked, rabbit tender and delicious and the calamari stuffed with anchovies was an unusual combination of flavors and textures. All the dishes had great presentations and our waiter Max was exceptional.

Il Posto I am almost at a loss for words, (which is rare for me, for those of you who know me) to describe the amazing culinary experience we just had. We have just returned from what has to be the best lunch we have ever eaten. The 3 course lunch menu at Il Posto is incredible. The chef, Andrea... More

Went to Il Posto a few weeks back with an ad rep who was in town. We were a large group and our server did a great job taking care of everyone. Started with some delicious charcuterie, different pastas and then entrees. I had the duck, which was fabulous. They have a great wine and cocktail list - I especially... More

We kicked off the start of 5280 week by trying a new restaurant. We struggled a bit at the start as it was hard to find on-street parking. There appears to be only a small parking lot and this lot seems to be for a few restaurants. We got incredible lucky as a car directly in front of Il Post... More
