Good experience

Stopped into Oceanaire with my wife on a business trip. Halibut and scallops were good. We split a wedge salad which was also good. Service was good as well. Overall a nice experience but not a "wow" experience which is okay. A lot of great restaurants in downtown Denver so I'd say search around... read more

Stopped in because it was close to the hotel. no one was in the place , not a good sign . The food was overlooked ! I had a seafood platter , the noddles we're salty and nothing including the lam chowder was even warm !!! On a good note the service was very good . But brace yourself it... More

We were a party of four on MOTHERS DAY LUNCH May 10th, 2015. It was jammed packed as one could imagine. This resulted in service a little slow ; however, this was because we had an Opera to go to at 2 pm that we wished for faster service. But, they were jammed as I did nit see an empty... More

A good place with a nice fresh seafood selection. They have steak choices too. It's not cheap, but neither is the quality. You get what you pay for here. They also have a nice raw bar selection. This is good for business, or friendly interactions. If you've been to an Oceanaire you can expect the same at this one.

Brad Moore and company again showed why they have earned our top spot for seafood in Denver. Dont be afraid or ashamed to sit at the cocktail tables and enjoy the happy hour menu. The oysters from the oyster trio were so fresh, clean, and delightfully briney. The shrimp and grits were perfectly seasoned and very well textured. You really... More

We were there before a show and did not have time to really experience the Oceanaire. You need to allow the server to tell you the menu story and order fish that the server filets at your table or a lobster tail where I think they do all the work. We were time constrained and the food we had was... More

This is a really wonderful restaurant- one of our favorite places before we go to see plays or symphony at the Buell, which is right across the street. If you like seafood, this is a great choice. Good wine/spirits collection. Everything is a la carte, but servings are decent. We can get one side salad for two or other sides... More

The blue mood lighting definitely creates a romantic and intimidate atmosphere. An excellent selection of seafood but limited selection of other proteins (beef, chicken, and pork) if you don't favor seafood. But it's called Oceanaire so what can you expect. The wine list and well drinks are extensive. The service is impeccable which is something to be expected considering the... More

Love the environment of the cool blue lighting. Large selections of wine and seafood. Shrimp cocktail was amazing. All sides were tasty - especially the hash browns and au gratin potatoes. Crab legs were cold though and took more time than I would have expected.
