Great Italian in a historic LoDo building!

This restaurant is just across the street from Denver's renovated Union Train Station in a classic landmark building. There are outside tables with good views of the action at the station and LoDo. Crowded on Rockies' games nights. The ravioli is world class, and the wine list is deep and... read more

You must get the Butternut squash ravioli and Brushetta, really to die for!! Great wine selection and service!! If the ravioli doesn't sound tasty, get it anyway, try it, it's really incredible. The waitress recommended it and I didn't know if I'd like it but OMG am I glad I took her advice!!

After a two-day trip on Amtrak's California Zephyr from San Francisco, we were ready for a great meal. And, my oh my, we were not disappointed. Our server at Venice was close to perfect. He was very informational and did a fabulous job of pairing wine and food ... even allowing us small tastes on our way to picking perfect... More

Our doorman from the hotel actually recommended this place. We were trying to get reservations somewhere somewhat fancy last minute and everywhere was booked until we came across this little gem. Great wine selection.

We are from Colorado Springs and took a drive up to Denver with 3 other friends specifically visit this restaurant on the suggestion of another friend. We were not disappointed!! The decor and ambiance were super nice. We were there on a Saturday night and it was really, really loud. The service we received from Francesco was outstanding! Fantastic wine... More

We visited Venice twice within the past month. Our experience ranged from awesome to a bit more mixed. The first time, was on a Saturday night. The service was personable and attentive. The bottled red wine was pricey but fabulous. The tomatoes in the mozzarella caprice were ripe and flavorful. The carpaccio and zucchini fritte served on a bed of... More

I visited for dinner, in May 2015, as a party of four. The service was great, and the decor really nice! I liked the glass-enacsed wine cellar that you could look into. This restaurant has an outstanding menu: I went for the Ravioli d'Aragosta (Lobster Ravioli) which lived up to expectations. Colleagues who went for the gnocchi and the veal... More

We were visiting an Italian friend while in Denver. Venice was a breath of fresh air. Veal Marsala was to die for and the chef prepared an exquisite vegan dish for my daughter. The waiter, Rene' was fabulous. Highly recommend the cheesecake!! ( which we took to go since we were so full.) Awesome dinner.

This is a nice place for very good Italian food. It is upscale so expect a more expensive meal. We started with the Insalate di Mele which was beautifully presented and delicious. The Fettuccine al Pollo was also very good. We were disappointed with the ravioli which seemed undercooked. I tried a cocktail made with Limoncello which was perfect with... More
