A little place called Heaven

Wonderful food, wide section of wine, attentive staff. What more can you ask for?. For simpler dining you can eat at the bar and take in all as well. It is not a hurried environment, it is a place to enjoy your food, wine and the people you are with. Always a place to go to while in Denver.

Maybe our poor experience is due to the fact that it was a Sunday evening, but what a poor showing. I was having a quick meal with my Mother. She loves to hit the top rated restaurants when she is up visiting from Aspen...and she is a huge Gabby Gourmet fan. This was a last minute trip, and we could... More

I visit the smaller location in the suburbs but tried out the downtown location for a large New Year's Eve dinner. Everything was absolutely perfect and amazing. The host staff was extremely attentive and on their game. Our waiter Dominique was awesome as well. As busy as they were he still held up the Venice standard and made us feel... More

Stopped in on whim while in the area. Waitress and hostess probably the best we've had in the last year. Food was average for the price. My Chilean sea bass was amazing but my partners special with lobster, shrimp and muscles was over cooked sonmuchbthat the lobster was inedible. The manager comped the food and bought us desert but likely... More

A beautiful place to have a good dinner for a special occasion. The food, both a meat entree and a pasta entree, were quite bland, even boring - surprising for a high-end Italian restaurant. The quantity was very good, though. The wine list is extensive, if a bit expensive. The service was stellar, making the overall meal a lovely experience.... More

Roger, the Concierge at the Hyatt Regency both recommended this restaurant and provided a certificated for a free dessert. The food was excellent - I won with the the Penne Marsales special but all of us enjoyed our dinners. Even though they were busy due to the Lighting of Union Station for the holidays, we were not rushed or hurried.

We were in town for the weekend and the Venice was recommended by our concierge. He was right!! East coast family owned atmosphere. Great wine list, we had a nice super Tuscan, everyone's dinner was great. Veal, pasta, all top notch. Excellent service without being over bearing. Right by Union Station, centrally located, close to free trolley on 16th street.

...I would have liked a nice garlic mashed potato as an option for a side dish. I ended-up having the fettuccine alfredo (which was OK too,) but it wasn't my first choice. Service was actually pretty good considering how incredibly busy this place got for a Wed night. But be prepared for high prices too. OK as a business dinner... More

The tortallini was packed full of fall flavors. Ravioli with Mozarella was something to write home about! Friendly service and a great wine selection. The server gave me a complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. That was a very nice touch!
