Lots of seating options, busy but good service

We needed a spot to meet with a bunch of family that would satisfy a diverse group. The food was good but not memorable. The music was a bit loud for the older folks, even on the outdoor patio. We could have asked for a qieter seating option but the patio was great for finding other family as they... read more

Randomly picked the Irish Snug as we drove east on Colfax in Denver one day after going to the zoo. What a pleasant surprise. Ashley Coram was our guide, professor and host. She was pleasant professional and candid about the menu. My in-laws are very picky about their Fish & Chips since spending a year in England. They loved it.... More

The Irish Snug is a great find. To begin with the servers are all very friendly, and helpful. The dinner menu is very broad. Over the last 3 evenings we have had great food.....the Mac and cheese is the best we have had, the shepards pie is outstanding, as is the chicken fingers, and fish and chips. All of our food... We stumbled upon this place while driving around Denver for the first time. What a great find! The outside seating is quaint and beautiful with tables, umbrellas, and flowers in planter boxes. The building is very cool, restrooms are immaculate, service is friendly and timely, and drinks are good! PRETZELS are awesome- soft bread with a slightly spicy cheese sauce.... More

We had a Wake at the Irish Snug, with about 40 friends and relatives. We were in a large room in the lower level. Our waiter was the friendliest and most efficient waiter I think I've met. He was running around like crazy, working so hard to get everything to us, at Happy Hour prices too! We ordered big platters... More

The Irish Snug must have become Smug. It still pours cold Guiness Stout, still has the best jazz every Wednesday, but the menu choices have shrunk. Take Irish Boxtys off the menu? Bad idea. Serve "Goat Cheese pasta" that tastes like Mac and cheese from a box? Another bad idea. We'll eat dinner before coming in to hear the jazz... More

Great restaurant in Denver. Had the tomato artichoke soup. To die for. Ruben and fries. Fries hand cut. Yum. Service excellent. Price right. Highly recommend!

Went on a Sunday afternoon for supper. Live music, cheerful staff, great service. Shepherd's Pie was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Irish Snug looked like a small pub - but had a surprisingly large downstairs dining area. Wait staff was nice, friendly, and prompt. Group ordered corned beef and cabbage egg rolls and was surprised at how good they were! Great burger. Bangers and Mash and shepherds pie were both yummy too. Close to the Ogden theater.

Great food, price and atmosphere. I loved the Reuben and the fish and chips! The staff was friendly as well. Perfect selection of authentic Irish dishes. I will return without hesitation!
