We had dinner with friends, initially with a drink at the bar and then a full meal plus dessert. The food was all excellent, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. There were several vegetarian options which is not always the case at high-end restaurants. Our server recommended a great red wine based on what we were ordering and she also gave... More

Destination restaurants like Rioja can be packed and pricy for dinner, but recently we found that it is a great value for a Saturday brunch - not much more than a chain fast casual restaurant. For $10-12/entree we had fabulous creative food, along with an amuse buche and tasty house-made breads. The restaurant is elegant and service was professional. The... More

We had a very nice dinner and although not large portions quite adequate. Certainly a very nice break from all the many Steak restaurants in the area. I would definitely go there again even though I would go early and definitely have reservations especially if a big convention is in town.

Interesting items on the menu are made nearly unpalatable by the over-abudance of salt. The cooks even salt salted meats and cheeses. They salt the fruit (not kidding) that goes into their entrees and main courses. The section of bread is extensive, each with unique nuance (lavender, goat cheese, etc) that ends up being added to something very much like... More

We were greeted and seated right on time for our 6 o'clock reservation at this popular Denver restaurant. The staff including our waiter were friendly and gracious, inquiring about our needs and experience without being at all intrusive. The setting was romantic, with tables well spaced to allow for comfortably private conversation. My date greatly enjoyed her selection of assorted... More

Great decor, great wait staff, great kitchen. Inventive and tasteful food. Excellent for diner and lunch; the outside patio is fun and very clean. My favorite place to take friends and business colleagues I enjoy and want to impress. A must for downtown dining.

make reservations ahead, worth it! Nice menus and wine mix. Good vibe of restaurant and surrounding Larimer square.

We were fortunate to walk-in and be seated for dinner. (It was early.) All three of our meals were outstanding. i had the lamb which was outstanding-wonderful flavors. My friend had the artichoke tortellini, which were lightly flavored and delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. The staff was knowledgeable about the wines and you were able to choose either a full... More

we opted for the $55 tasting menu with wine pairings. Food was excellent as were the Spanish wines. Only negative was that when we asked questions of the waiters about the food o 2 occasions they did not know. We thought they would update comes back to us but they did not.
