Nummy food. Artfully prepared.

We met friends for an early lunch on a recent Saturday. We were impressed with the menu selections and the chef's careful attention to detail--each plate was carefully plated. And the food--my oh my! Delicious does not begin to describe it. Great atmosphere. We sat at a table which overlooked... read more

We love the diverse menu at Rioja. There is always something new and tonight was no exception. 3 of us had the fish special which was delightful and I had the tuna. All were elegantly prepared with great spices and vegetables. And who can pass up the bennets or the homemade ice cream. Fabulous!!

We all tried a wide variety of dishes as none of us have ever been to this place before. Some portions ample, some not for the $ but it is good for me. Next time I plan on making happy hour.

Great date night or weekend brunch place. I loved my tapas style meal. Great wait staff and the chef walks around, that was classy! We loved the mood of the decor and on a very hip street! Very lovely to walk at night with street having strings of festival lights! Very cool dinner experience. Parking is tight, but there is... More

Jen's fame has made this restaurant very popular, so the service has suffered a bit but the food never disappoints

I am dedicated foodie who travels a lot and am fortunate to eat wherever I want. I cannot name a better restaurant, and I have eaten at a bunch of Michelin star restaurants. I would not have come to Denver on this trip if it wasn't for Rioja. It is that good. My wife had never been to Rioja, and... More

We visit Rioja every visit to Denver. The atmosphere is casual elegance, the vibs are young but mature, waitstaff are professional and food is always above expectations.

We were looking for a place to have hot soup for lunch and had been into 3 restaurants along Larimer Square and was attracted by the first item listed on the menu.. the Butternut squash soup. Served with whipped brown butter curry-candied walnuts and served with a biscotti, it was outstanding!! I also had the mocha-roasted beets with were served... More

Rioja is in an excellent location. I frequent Rioja on the weekends for Brunch. Simple, we split the house made doughnuts and I always have the Chicken Confit and Latkes. The doughnuts are exceptional, have just the correct amount of everything. The Chicken, hands down the most tender piece of chicken I have ever put in my mouth, it keeps... More
