Where to start? I came here last Sunday to have a brunch date. Dan-E our server was attentive and prompt, the meal was great! We shared the pork belly appetizer swimming in a curried garbanzo bean puree. It was warm, flavorful and a perfect bite sized portion. He had a fabulous monte christo, I had the Rioja Benedict which was... More

Had a business dinner here - both business and casual. Good access fro walking from nearby hotels. Wonderful strip and beautiful ambiance. Great food with very cool presentation. Very enjoyable experience.

I never get disappointed in this restaurant. Every time I invite family or friends there, they all love it. The quality and the presentation of the plates are the best. The atmosphere and the workers are great too. Be sure to make reservation. Don't expect just to walk in :)

We had high expectations based upon reviews for this place. The wait between our apps and entrees was really long, which explains why our entrees were both very cold. It was too late to have them redone, so we just sent them back. The hostess was very nice, but it did not make up for the money wasted on the... More

Absolutely go to Rioja on Larimer Street, without question the best meal we had in Denver. It rivals the best restaurants in New York, where I am from. Katie Murphy has over achieved in this eclectic mixed menu. We had the "picnic" as an appetizer, a fresh take on a cheese, cured meat, olive platter with sauteed rosemary almonds, bread... More

Just read the last two, recent reviews. What a shame these persons did not have the great experience we've enjoyed every one of the six (6) times we've dined there. 5280 Magazine (an excellent source to pick up any month to check out Denver restaurants) and the Denver Post both reported that Jennifer Jasinski, Rioja's executive chef and co-owner, is... Being a home gourmet gives me a strong appreciation for the amount of work that goes into every bite at Rioja. I am sometimes disappointed when I go out to eat and pay a lot of money for something I can make at home and it tastes better. That is not the case with this restaurant. This is a place... More

We did arrive a few minutes early for our reservation and actually had to wait about 15 more until our table was ready - that would be the only negative I would say about our visit. From our complimentary glass of wine (for having to wait for our table) all the way to our dessert, both the service and the... More

This has been my favorite restaurant in Denver for about 10 years! The room is beautiful and relaxing. Perfect for a special occasion or brunch with the girls. The food is always delicious and inspired. Never disappoints!

It is a very nice place, very nice street, AMAZING food and nice service, it is not the best place I've eaten in, but I do recommend it, something I don't like about Colorado is that they bring you the check without asking for it!!!
