On a rainy day in July we followed the crowd into The Market. Immediately the cappuccino and cakes enticed, but we stepped up to the sandwich, hot food and salad counters. My soup was delicious, tasted like nothing came out of a can, as was the orzo salad and eggplant. You can get wine by the glass. Just peruse the... More

Love to grab a cup of espresso or pastrami sandwich at this landmark deli. Nestled right in the thick of Larimer's high end restaurants, the people watching is top notch. Sit out front, and watch people drain their wallets, as you enjoy one of the deserts, salads, or a beer at deli prices.

Whenever we're in downtown Denver, we try to pop by The Market. It's like a New York deli from the early 1900's. Superb sandwiches. Fantastic cakes. Very nice deli selection, and you can pick a multitude of small servings of this and that. The coffee/tea shop is excellent. Oozes old-time charm. We always enjoy our visits here.

Excellent Espresso! Quirky place took a couple of minutes to figure out. Espresso bar first up but climb some steps and lots of tables around the central food area. One side you order breakfast and sandwiches. Other side is hot food. Tons of interesting chocolates and sodas (dry cucumber soda). great food and service. Spoke with owner while he was... More

How to describe this place? Hmmm. Old-fashioned. Squeaky hardwood floors. Baked goodies and espresso on the left as you walk in. A big deli counter in the middle, sandwiches made to order, hot foods, a salad bar, cakes and pies the likes of which you've never eaten before! A specialty candy counter - mmmmm, GOOD STUFF. Specialty groceries - fun... More

I have loved this place for years. Every time I come to Denver I need to go, if for nothing else a cup of coffee and a scone. The sandwiches are simple yet delish, and the coffee is fantastic. No really, its great! I love this place for the atmosphere, relaxed and very "Denver".

That is all you need to know is the Spring Fling cake. I've gotten stuff from the deli & other desserts. The Spring Fling that Barack & Michelle Obama stopped by to have during the DNC. I do not like cake because frosting is too sweet. This is a whole other animal. Not really sweet but all the fruits give... More

We stopped in here for lunch and found the environment to be totally charming but the gentleman who took our orders totally not. He was bossy and not very helpful. The food was okay - nothing terrific. We did not bother to stop back in even though we did think the cakes looked terrific. I had a quiche and my... More

For those of you who remember King's in Boca Raton or Balducci's in the city, this is the place for YOU. Old style feel with aged hardwood floors and a floor plan from days gone by, the foods here deliver right on the money. We stumbled across it with our annual reunion group from all across the USA and it... More
