We stayed in downtown Denver 7/30/14 and 7/31/14. We got into town around 9pm so we were limited as to what could be delivered to our hotel. We had a craving for Asian food, and the front desk at the TownePlace Suites gave us a list with a series of restaurants that delivered after hours. Thai Basil was on the... More

There are lots of good Thai restaurants in Denver. This one is OK, but the service is severely lacking. Not only slow and inattentive, but with an attitude. We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer. After a long wait, the server brought a plate of oil-soaked pot stickers. After a long time to get the server's attention, we asked him... More

We didn't eat in the restaurant- we had take out. I wasn't overly impressed- the crab wontons were the best part of the whole meal. I didn't care for the spring rolls at all and the scallops were just okay. We'll probably try someplace else next time.

Having gone to other Thai Basil locations around the Denver area I was surprised when visiting this location to find a run down establishment with very dark lighting and below average food when compared with their other locations. The soup was luke warm and fairly tasteless. The entrees were only average in quality, appearance and taste as compared again to... More

Located just a couple of blocks from the convention center, this place draws quite a crowd during business days. We had a 20 minute wait at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The food is okay, not very spicy at all. My usual order of green curry was served up quickly and came with a lot of rice. The dish was... More

This food wasn't so bad that I couldn't eat it but l don't plan to return. We had red curry, chicken soup, spring rolls, and cheese wontons at Thai Basil. Everything was just mediocre. Specifically, the chicken they put in the soup and curry was fatty and the pieces were too big for my taste. Generally, there didn't seem to... More

Never ever even think of going there. Some people might fink it's good, ....NOT. Very very bad place, I wouldn't even think of a delivery from that place at 2 in the morning.

I don't hate Thai Basil, it just doesn't hold up to the smaller places around town. Average at best for their version of Thai food. I've tried many different items and am always underwhelmed.

I'm trying to watch what I eat lately, so I haven't been here in months. Very good food, particularly their sesame tofu and basil tofu. Yum yum. This place knows their tofu!
