Located in The Brown Palace Hotel, Ellyngton's is a large, beautiful restaurant with lovely place-settings. We each had breakfast; me, the All American. The food was, basically, just average, primarily because it was on the cold side, as was the coffee. The sausage links were good but dry. Also, I asked if the orange juice was fresh-squeezed before ordering, and... More

A wonderful restaurant located in The Brown Palace Hotel. The restaurants in The Brown Palace are, to me, all truly superlative.

We decide to try out this restaurant for breakfast as we were staying in the hotel. It seems like a fancy place when you walked in. The prices are not bad as well for a nice breakfast. On the menu it says fresh squeezed orange juice for $5 per glass. It was definitely not fresh squeezed but out of a... More

This is a great place to hold a small business lunch. Inside the historic Browns Palace hotel the place is classy and quiet enough to hold a conversation. The place is upscale enough to make a statement but, while not cheap, the lunch prices were not outrageous which the decor and the setting may lead one to expect. Good selection... More

This traditional dining room is the breakfast and lunch spot in the Brown Palace Hotel. Well spaced tables in the quiet and well-lighted place make it a good place for a breakfast or luncheon meeting.

Had breakfast here every morning we stayed at Brown Palace. What a fabulous way to start your day. Delicious food. Service efficient, professional & most accommodating to any special requests. We felt very pampered. And the atmosphere is beautiful.

From the street to seated I could not have asked for more! We loved the location, the history and the atmosphere immediately. The staff was patient, informative and welcoming. The menu was the perfect size with elegant, classic fare fitting of the surroundings. Our meal was perfectly prepared and served. I would have expected to pay much more for such a... More

What a wonderful brunch. Amazing and informative service- Anton took care of our every need, as a restaurant manager myself I understood how many tables he had and how good he was at juggling them. The food was wonderful (try the trout and the prime rib- even though it is breakfast) and while we were taking a break in between... More

We had the most delightful breakfast at Ellyngton's while staying at The Brown Palace Hotel last weekend. In fact it was the highlight of our stay. The room itself is light and full of crystal chandeliers and nice wallpaper. The food was absolutely divine. You had a choice between ordering off the menu or having the wonderful, endless buffet. We... More

Great breakfast spot. Was really impressed with the menu. The omelettes were out of this world good. Cannot say enough good things about them! Service was a little slow but not bad!
