I went to El Tejado with friends and the food was excellent. We had steak fajitas, chorizo with eggs, chicken burritos and more. Every dish was well attractive and delicious. Service is great and quality is consistent. I love this place!

After a weekend of fine dining and sightseeing in downtown Denver and while on our way home, my three teens and I just happened to stumble upon El Tejado -- what a great find! The dining room was pleasant and clean, and the entire staff was very friendly and efficient, from the hostess to the wait staff to the bussers.... More

Never had a bad dish here. Fajitas tonite were EXCELLENT (and I'm very picky about my fajitas....). The wait staff is always really nice, and they get you your food fast. The decor is a little, um, cheezy and the booth seats are not very comfortable, but WHO CARES when the food and people are so good?!?! And very reasonably... More

Parking lot was packed so we figured its a neighborhood favorite and we were right. Take the back alley to sneak in. The food was great, staff really nice and quick. You can sit at the bar and eat too. Green chile had great flavor..we will definitely go back!

By looking at the outside of this restaurant you would think a nice little dive. But once you step in, I was shocked by how well it was decorated. We were greeted right away at the door. They seated us very quickly and the Mariachi band was already playing. The menu had a lot of choices. Menudo was also being... More

We had not been here in over se ven years after moving and decided to visit for old times' sake. The service was superfast and the food was really good and very reasonably priced. Entrees were around $6-7. We had the bubbly hot cheese appetizer with the mild green chilies and ended with fried ice cream. Very pleased at how... More

This used to be my favorite Mexican place, but no more. New owners have changed the menu and recipes, and increased the prices. The burritos desebrada used to come filled with a large amount of shredded beef, and topped with a flavorful yellow cheese and green chile with pork. Now they come filled with a small amount of the beef... More

Nice food in a nice spot. I had chorizo and scramble skillet with green chile and I ate every bloody bit. My wife had huevos and her plate as equally clean. Winner. Wish I lived closer.

Went with a business group of 15 for lunch. The host worked quickly and seated us together although we said we would sit at separate tables. Several ordered fajitas and split the order. There was way more food than for one person for a lunch. I ordered a la cart and was pleasantly surprised with the cheese enchiladas, basic comfort... More

Ive been here about 5 times now. Even took a first-date there the other night and the service was excellent and attentive, the Guacamole Tostadas are fantastic, and the menu ranges from very reasonable to moderate just depending on what you order. Friendly staff and a full bar as well. TRY IT! You wont be disappointed. Me and the date:... More
