Late night visit

We just arrived & checked in to our hotel. We need a light meal fast! I had the brisket basket & my husband had a burger. The brisket was the tenderest I have had! Great late dinner! Be sure to look up & around! It is the lobby of the old Paramount Theater & is beautiful!

I have lived in Denver for 4 years prior to me moving to Taos, NM. Knowing that Denver has SEVERAL options, particularly on the 16th st. mall strip, I would ALWAYS make a stop at the Paramount Café. They're happy hour is probably the best in the Denver Downtown area. they have AMAZING food with plenty of options. the staff... More

In Denver for the day and wanted to try Bison and Elk. My wife got the BBQ Elk, and I got the Bison. We cut in half and shared it. Both were great. The Brisket Bisquits were actually the best, we ordered as an appetizer. The atmosphere was awesome. Giant picture of David Bowie, which was fitting as he has... More

Really cool and fun environment. Food was great! We had the Elk and Bison burgers. Also, brisket biscuits for an appetizer is a must! Pricing was reasonable.

My husband and I walked a couple blocks from the Denver Convention Center after attending the Denver Boat Show. Service was friendly and great and the menu offered a nice variety. The Gyro plate/sandwich was really good. Everything tasted fresh.

We visited the cafe for lunch before the Broncos game and had a great experience. Our food was great and our waitress was good too. She was fast, friendly and had a great sense of humor.

When I was here in early 2015, I ended up with a SEVERE case of food poisoning. Subsequently approached manager (on a later date) whose name, I believe, was Glenn. Very rude, standoffish and dismissive. I'm told that this establishment has also had issues with The Health Department. Don't plan on coming back to this place.. NOW or **EVER!!**

My first night in Denver I left my conference late and had few choices to grab a bite to eat. The paramount cafe was opened and had take-out, perfect. I had a desperado burger (peppercorn crusted beef patty, applewood smoked bacon, gorgonzola cheese, jalapeño-rosemary aioli) and side salad. The food was tasty. The restaurant, however, smelled of stale beer. The... More
