Lunch along the Mall

Located in the historic theater, this restaurant/pub has been carved out of what used to be a (very fancy) concession stand. Great food, excellent service, a good local beer selection and a nice outdoor canopy-covered seating area on the 16th street mall combine to make this a nice lunch stop.

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. We were seated right away on the patio. We enjoyed watching all the foot traffic on 16th street as we dined. Food was well presented, and they had tasty what appeared to be homemade dressings for the salads.

This place is VERY charming both inside and outside on the patio. It's a bustling atmosphere appropriate for downtown Denver. The food and service, not so much. Let's start with the food. Food is good, however it is average. Not much to be interested in except for the spicy fried pickles, which by the way, they will not let you... More

Great place, good food and amazing service, yet, if you are sensitive to smoking, avoid the porch sitting as they allow smoking

Friendly staff gave us the 411 on the history of the building. Food was very good. Our group tried the sliders, wings, hummus, cheese fries, wonton Juans, fried pickles and a steak salad. Everything got a thumbs up from my group of students, in fact by the end of the meal, every plate was clean.

This place has a nice selection of draft beers. The service was slow. Their happy hour specials are cheap and worth checking out.

This restaurant had 80s music playing while we were eating! The eating area opens to the outside for excellent people watching. Great food with good prices.

This restaurant had good food, but the atmosphere was a little off. The overall noise in the restaurant made having a conversation difficult. I would like to try this restaurant again for dinner sometime.

This is a Denver icon, in the heart of 16th street mall, outdoor seating in the summer is second to none. Been there since time began it a must stop. Reasonable prices, good service, hang out and take a load off, perfect spot for people watching and relaxing.

The Paramount Cafe is a perfect place for lunch on the Mall. The selection of salads, burgers and sandwiches offers something for everyone. Outside seating is fun, overlooking the bustle of the mall. The food is well prepared with interesting aiolis and sauces to make more than just the usual burger joint.
