The BB II is close to downtown with great Mexican Food and authentic pork green chili. Prices are reasonable and service has always been good on my many visits. Yup it's an old dive bar in front and parking is tight! If you want fancy and to pay too much this is not your place! If you want great Mexican... More

What looks like a whole in the wall turns out to be an excellent dining experience where you will walk away fuller than you wanted. The wait staff is very attentive and they have the best green chili ever! Excellent place to dine on your lunch break.

I don't understand the reputation and ratings for this place. Nice people and good service but the food is mediocre at best. Chile rellenos, the supposed house specialty, are hard and have little taste. Beef tacos were okay. Bean tostado was okay. There are better Mexican places in this city.

This is the best dive mexican food restaurant in town. Excellent Margaritas, green chili, chili rellenos and home made refried beans!

Never lets me down; always fun to go there and just have a Tiny and a special chili relleno. Have known Bobby and his sister forever. The best staff!

I have moved to Houston and still miss the Brewery Bars! The number 1 is the best Mexican plate you'll ever eat. Margaritas are good too!

The best recommendation is: family members/friends from out of state, DEMAND to be taken to BBII before even dropping luggage and settling in. We have been patronizing this great Mexican food establishment since the 1970s! The original Brewery Bar was owned by Abe and Roz Shur in the old Tivoli Brewery, now a part of the UC Denver campus. They... More
