Great Green Chili, Very Consistent

If you want to taste what green chili around here should taste like go here. There are better places but this one is very consistent. Order a tiny beer

Stopped in with the GF today before doing some antiquing on Broadway. Had the ground beef and bean burrito smother with green chili. I ordered the half mild half hot and was glad I didn't go full hot. We sat at the bar since it was crowded and the service and food were both excellent.

Mexican food at the Brewery Bar II is more than just delicious. It's an entire experience of comfort, flavor and fun. Even on your first visit you'll feel like family. Green chile is a staple in Colorado and the Brew Bar's is my favorite. With meaty and large braised pork morsels and a depth of flavor for the ages, it... More

One of the finest bars and Mexican joints in Denver. A working mans place that serves some mean green chili and healthy ice cold beers. Tough day throw down a tequila shot with your hot green chili smothered burrito or relleno.

From the outside, you wonder about the place! My friend said that they had the best rellenos I town, so I gave it a try. Yep. They have the best in town, by far! The portions were pretty big but I finished them up! The chips and salsa were also pretty good, but I won't call them the best in... More

No frills, quick friendly service, awesome green chili. The famous rellenos weren't as good as I remember from a few years ago (when I used to be a regular) but I still polished them off in no time. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because the place could use a good top to bottom cleaning but there... More

Brewery Bar II is an institution in Denver, long known for their fiery green chile and excellent chile rellenos. It's been awhile since my last visit, and was surprised how few cars were in the parking lot on a Friday night. I soon found out why... No air conditioning in the front dining room (to be fixed the following Tuesday)... More

This place used to have a great reputation for Mexican food. It is not close to that now. Too bad because it could be really unique. The place appears to need a lot of TLC and a ceiling to floor cleaning. The food is horrible!! I don't think I can emphasize that enough. We ordered chips and salsa which were... More

Went for dinner with some girlfriends, ordered the Mexican Hamburger. I asked the waitress for the burger to be cooked medium-rare. She stammered that it comes medium, I should've known better at that moment. Now mind you I have been to this restaurant before because others absolutely wanted to eat there. I have not been a fan of their food... More

We arrived early in the dinner hour. There were several open tables, so we did not anticipate a long wait. The server dropped off menus, waited about 5 seconds for my wife to decide a drink order, and then went off to take care of other business. Other business proved to be 4 groups that came in (after we were... More
